Your Otis ear shield is made by Allen. I have 2 of them they work well for lighter booms. Heavy calibers not so much. You can hear spach ok. Yes they are more comfortable.

Just received my induction heater and crucibles. Still waiting on the power supply. Then start annealing the 9mm brass I'm going to make .401" jacketed bullets out of.

5000 bullets 9mm 115gr
3000 bullets .308 110gr
2000 bullets .308 150gr mixed

Fail Zero BCG, backup BCG, nice 16" BA Hanson barrel and Raptor charging handle for current AR build from here, here, here , and
here and cheap 22LR because cheap!
Active Junky discount on the 22 puts it at under 2c per round. [ETA: Active Junky failed and did not honor the discount.]
Very tempted to get some Lancer mags that I see on sale but don't really need any more dam AR mags! I may have to return and confess to getting them.

Well, guess I’m officially back into the 9mm game... Impulse buy at the range tonight:

Image

STI Staccato C... Have been eyeing an STI for awhile now, and almost bought a 10mm a couple months ago. A co-worker mentioned they were making a single stack 9mm now so I took a look at that and a Hudson 9 after tonight’s range session. I really loved the overall feel (though slightly nose heavy) and loved the sight picture of the Hudson, but man...that trigger and slide on the STI! Like buttah...feels like an extremely well tuned high end 1911 right out of the box.

About the same size as my compact Officer model framed 1911s...and the mags actually fit in 1911 mag holders. It came with a nice IWB kydex holster, but I’m shopping for a nice leather OWB for daily CCW.

Only ran one box through it tonight, but damn it feels slick. The only shots outside that big ragged hole were from two mag dumps at 7 yards. And yes, still pushing my shots to the left when I rush them, as you can clearly see in the two “head” shots; one at the end of each mag dump, so at least my POA is consistent.

Dumb question: what do you mean by a Lee "trim guide"? Do you mean their case length gauges?

ETS CAM Speedloader for 9mm

Even with three 17 round mags I spend too much time at the range loading instead of shooting. I figure that, over time, what I save in paid range time will pay for this.

I may contact them about copying the swedish mag loader that works with sumi and swedish SMG mags and the 6x6 round stripper clips. I'd like to have one for my ppsh 41 mags.

UTG Super Duty Bi-pod with QD Lever Mount, Height 8.0"-12.8" to go on my .22 WMR bolt action and Holster for Ruger LCP & LCP II pistol with Underbarrel Laser Mounted on Gun - IWB or Belt Use for those rare times when I don't want to pocket carry it in its pocket holster. The bipod got here a little while ago and I'm impressed with the quality of both the bipod and the mount. Should make those 100+ yard groundhog shots leaning on the hood of a truck a lot easier.

A couple Tandemkross 5-rd mag extensions (15 round total mag capacity) and two stainless steel guide rods with a captured spring to replace the factory plastic guide rod and VERY well-worn factory springs in our SR22 pistols.

Well, I didn't actually buy it but... a friend just dropped by and gave me a box of 147gr 9mm Streak FMJ. My plan is to incorporate it into my carry mags as "time to swap mags" warnings. (Last two rounds in each mag)
