UTG bipod.

Yeah, yeah, I know. But I had $20 credit, it was already $20+ off, and free shipping. So it ended up costing me $21.

Keltec p11 and 1 extra magazine as the gun only came with 1. But it did have the finger rest baseplate on that one 10 rounder. Extra mag was 12 rounds. Both were mecgar magazines. I also put an xd9 on layaway. And also won a gunbroker auction for 3 12 round factory magazines for my usp45f.

Bought an LCR 9 http://www.ruger.com/products/lcr/specSheets/5456.html on Wednesday and it arrived at my FFL on Thursday... waaaaaaaaat!?

Crazy fast. Excited to take it for a spin this weekend if I can. Get it. It's a revolver. Go for a spin. Whatever, you aren't clever either.

I very much want one. I like small revolvers for concealed carry and backup guns for various reasons, and a 9mm means I don't have a new caliber to buy, plus slightly better ballistics and ammo selection than .38 Special.

Ordered some magazines from CTD. P229 .40. I was suspicious because they were only $17 and change, which is less than half the usual price. Emailed CTD about them and the response was these were the phosphate ones rather than smooth painted metal (the last spares I bought were phosphate and still full price, but I figured what the hey).

Opened the packages today. They are identical to factory mags with the exception of the name and caliber pressing that is on the side--it's not on these. But even the "Made in Italy" is identical. Packaging says OEM... I actually think they are the real thing. For half price.

Score.

Thats exactly why I got it - good compliment to my primary G17 I think and gives a little variety for range trips.

And because rules...

I just got back from my first gun show and couldn't help picking up a few odds and ends

80+ rounds of loose mil-surp .308
Cartidge holder sleeve for a rfile stock
FR-8 Bayonet w/ scabbard
Cheapo GI web sling
Ankle Holster for the above LCR 9mm
33 Round extended Glock 9mm mag
10 rounds Federal 16 gauge rifled slugs

Total cost, including gun show admission, was $125 and 4 "less than perfect" CETME mags.

Won my GunBroker auction for a Smith and Wesson 2214 .22 LR. With an EWK Arms adapter (http://www.ewkarms.com/zen8/index.php?m ... ducts_id=7) it should make a perfect suppressor host. I'm pretty sure the suppressor will be an AAC Element 2, haven't ordered it yet.

Sportsmans Guide had some Polish AK receiver blanks fairly cheap, so I grabbed a couple. Now I gotta gather up my AK parts, figure out what's compatible and what still needs to be procured.

Thinking about marking one as a Colt Commando, due to the recent TFB post on Mexican ZipSubmachineguns.

3 new MecGar mags for a Browning Hi Power. The mag that came with the gun made it a jamomatic.

I was really running short on time, so maybe only put about 30 rounds through the BHP.

Favorite Zombie Movies: so far zombieland because i think it accuratly depicts what a zombie could be like. not a dead becoming undead, but an infected human... kinda like a dog with raibies. even tho signs of other survivors were non existant in the movie except for the 4 main characters and bill murray...

I just approved an estimate for some custom work on my SIG P220. It's an older W. German model I picked up used a few years ago, one of my favorite pistols to shoot. I've been eyeing Gray Guns for a while, so:

Reduced Reset Comprehensive Duty Package
Super Black Finish applied to all surfaces of entire gun.
Nickel Plate all Internals that are not visible on the outside
Bar-Sto Match Grade Barrel
Fit Bar-Sto Match Barrel
Heinie Slant Pro Straight Eight night sight set, installed

About double what I paid for the gun in parts and labor, but damn, it's gonna be sexy.

2 x Mossberg 702 10 round mags
2 x 25 round pro-mags for my Marlin 795 *
Tech Sights for Marlin 795
Leupold VX-I 3-9x40 + Rings - For now, this will live on my CETME
AND
If all goes well this afternoon - 1009 rounds of 7.62x51/.308 for $350! Not all mil-surp either - Many boxes of Prvi and Winchester are in the mix... ammo can included too... Super stoked. Should be a nice season of shooting my .308s!

All told with shipping etc, my bill was $715.... Way more than I was looking to spend for the whole month, let alone a few days, but for what I'm getting I don't think it's half bad.

* - wtf, <$20 10 rounders are out of stock every where... These were only $12. I'd rather have had the 10 rounds for ~$16-18 but they are gone everywhere and these could ship with the other stuff I bought
