Completely broke, but had to buy it anyway. Purchased a Yugo M57 with two mags. Gun is bottom of the barrel special from Wideners. It may not even work, but for 99 dollars shipped its worth the gamble. With brand new M57 being built probably find parts to make it work if it doesn't.

Well, a new Super Walmart opened near me today and had quite the stock of ammo today. I dropped quite a bit of coin, but I was running low on 9mm. The case of 5.56 was an impulse buy.

Walmart has been my bacon saver during these sparse ammo days. :) I still hate that store, but I keep coming back. Like a goddamned junkie.

Yeah, I agree. I've spent nearly 800 bucks on ammo the past couple weeks. I need to tone it down. lol

Well at least I know where all the ammo's at, it's all in Rogue45's local Chinamart.

I haven't seen shelves stocked like that in more than a year. It's better than it was, it's not *that* good though.

Sweet FSM. I've never seen my Walmart shelves look like that. Ever. :gonk: Meh.

Half the clerks at the local wallyworlds think you have to fill out a 4473 to buy ammo. No worries, the shelves are pretty sparse and the ammo's overpriced anyway.

OT, ordered a couple .AR lpks from the LGS.

Just got my boyfriend deterrent device in last night. The shop actually forgot to call me when it arrived so they reopened so I could pick it up. Had a quick chat with the owner about shortening the barrel 1 1/2", maybe 2" off the stock and adding a 1" recoil pad. The finish is pretty good, but could be better so I may refinish it myself. And yes it is a Baikal MP220.

Nice coach gun! I love those Baikals. How are you thinking of refinishing it?

OT:

Decided to give PSA a chance and ordered one of their "Caches" . 5 Pmags and an LPK in a .50cal ammo can. Not a bad deal for 90 bucks.

I think I will keep the natural color and really just smooth out the rough spots. Any suggestions are welcome of course.
I opened a new thread for refinishing suggestions in the shotgun section.

I just picked up a double barrel too.
It's Joe Biden's fault though. His stupid 'advice' got stuck in my head for the last couple months and been eating away at my ability to not impulse buy things. I have enough guns. But on 9/11 Biden won out in my head and I went to buy the cheapest double barrel I can find.

a brand new (not really according to the manager) JW-2000 double barrel 12 gauge coach gun will be going home with me in a little more than a week.
I wonder where i'm gonna put it... the safe is full, the gun closet is full, I'm starting to think there is such thing as too many guns!

I picked up 7 guns this year so far. I do feel like a junkie. Is there some kind of gun buying therapy like there is for alcoholics?

If there is therapy, I need it, too.

Another couple $200 tax stamps... :awesome: Projects TBA later!

Picked up an extra 100 rounds of .45ACP to try out a Kriss extension on one of my Glock 21 mags (takes it to 30 rounds) as well as a 27-rd hatestick I got from the Glock store a couple weeks ago...can't recall the manufacturer, just says "made in Korea" on the mag and I threw the packaging away.

And I'm too lazy to look on the Glock store website to figure it out!

Also grabbed another Ruger BX25 mag for my son's 10/22 take down...$30 at my local Academy Sports. Remember when they were going for $100+ a few months ago? Glad that madness is starting to recede...

Picked up a Glock 17 yesterday... I now have the "main" caliber full-size Glocks... a 17, a 22 (my carry gun at work) and a 21...

Also the new gun safe I picked up last week was just delivered and I finally got it tucked away. ALL my longarms are finally locked up!

Looks like they are going to pass all the anti-gun laws, so I've been picking up more than usual. I hate California.
Damn dude, that's a lot of firepower to purchase in a 48 hour period. :D Totally jealous, of most of them anyhow...
8 more days and most everything comes out of jail. I'll post up pics of all the handguns, except the HK45, which I cannot DROS until next month.

Probably get some shit here but I traded a beat up garand for an ar. Don't see why people like these so much. I'll give it some time but probably sell it off after doing some work to it.

If you can afford to, I'd hold onto it until the next scare comes along and sell it at a MASSIVE profit. When i get a little free money after my current build, i plan to buy a few Lowers for that exact reason.

On Topic:

I picked up 8 D&H mags, new, but out of wrapping.

The local Gander here has stupid prices compared to Cabela's. =/ Sportsman's Warehouse was nearly as bad for handgun ammo prices.

Just installed a Wolff spring kit on my Ruger GP-100, 8lb trigger and 10lb hammer. Everything feels good. Going to the range this weekend to check primer strikes.
