Yeah, no problem and good luck.

OT : Four 7.92x57 clips for .50 cents a pop.

(which I bought before I found out that dude @ the LGS actually had those hidden bandoleers of Turkish ammo in a corner of his shop underneath some other shit which actually included stripper clips). :)

Going back tomorrow to pick up more of it.

Pink Tapco Ruger 10/22 stock, somebody has a birthday coming up and she's already put 10 in the 10 ring to earn it... We'll have some quality father/daughter time building it.

The real question is, do you go into work just for the fun of seeing who's already zombified...

HKUSP45 from a coworker. Less then 200rds through it (practically no slide "smiles" on barrel) with two mags,case,200 rds of ammo for $500.00 I couldn't pass it up. And quickly painted the roll marks.

Ruger 1022 Quad Rail came today... It took so much dremmeling, filing, and shaving for the thing to fit on my ATI Strikeforce stock. I'll put some finishing touches on it later. I need to get some fine grain sand paper. There is no return. (For that stock at least. Looks a bit like a Ruger SR22 now, but the stock folds) :D

Just bought a S&W 686 Plus. Wasnt planning on buying anything but i made the mistake of holding it and dry firing it. Then made the excuse in my head that i can use it as a hiking and hunting sidearm. Then i went a step further and rented one. And i fell in frickin love. Now shes in jail for 11 days before i can get her.

  • 8 bandoleers (80 rds apiece) of 7.92x57 ammo on stripper clips.
  • Bunch of cleaning stuff (full length/one piece rod, four different sizes of rifle brushes, jag...Hoppes, lube...etc).

Congrats! I want to add both of those to my collection. The 10/22 is a great plinkster and the Mossberg I would like to do a home defense setup with!

P.S. You can still live your life of peace and intellectualism, except you will be the intellectual with a boomstick ready to kick ass when SHTF. Two great first buys!

A sharpie black oil paint pen. It helped me fix a few mistakes on the Ruger 1022 stock I had to sand/dremmel. I mostly just used it to paint the textured grip. It looks pretty good at the moment.

Pretty happy I got my Quad Rail and ATI stock working together.

Postby TN-Shooter » Sat Aug 18, 2012 7:17 am

http://m.opticsplanet.com/simmons-3-moa ... d-dot.html

I bought this red/green/blue dot scope from a local store for my m4. I only had about 70 bucks to spend in a scope and went with this one. It looks pretty amazing. I just hope it can hold up on top of my 223.

Anybody heard anything about this particular scope?

TN Shooter - go out and put 1k rounds through it today and let us know how it works.
I've got my daughter on a budget build for her AR, and we are looking for an economical red dot.

Somewhat firearms related, again.... but I just spent about $200 on items for a fully equipped trauma kit for range use. Glad that's out of the way.
