Where? Savage mk II folding stock

Postby nimdabew » Sat Jan 31, 2009 2:15 pm

Does anyone know where I can find a wire folding stock for my mk. 2 so I can make it a more compact backpacking critter gun? Preferably wood kinda like this:

I've never heard of anyone even making one for the MKII. 10/22 definitely. Marlin model 60, maybe.

So are you giving me a reason to go out and buy a new semi-auto?

Nobody seems to really make many things for savage rifles, so good luck.
All dwarfs are by nature dutiful, serious, literate, obedient and thoughtful people whose only minor failing is a tendency, after one drink, to rush at enemies screaming "Arrrrrrgh!" and axing their legs off at the knee.

If you're dead-set on a folding stock, you could take it that way.

I don't remember the guy's handle, but in the rimfire pic thread over on arfcom, there's a guy who took AK stock hinges (ACE, I believe) and worked them into the wooden stocks on a pair of 77/22s.

I doubt it, since the stock you linked to won't fit the gun.
