I finally got around to taking a picture of my "new" old Glock. It's a second-generation G19, all original and bone stock. I, like many, don't care for the finger grooves on the third-gen pistols. A serial number checked listed it as manufactured in January of 1990. It looks almost brand new. There isn't even much holster wear, so it isn't a "carried a lot and shot a little" piece. I guess it's been sitting in a drawer for over 15 years. :)
Price? $325.

Thank you, KY Imports.

Although I am under the age of 18 in the state of Virginia it is perfectly legal for a minor to be given (own) a handgun, rifle, or shotgun. I do not have pics of all of mine, but here are some.

Some pics of a few of my favorite firearms

I used white nail polish on the slide of the P95 Ruger to bring out the stamping. The Black Hawk has had extensive internal re work and the trigger is now 2lbs. I made the grips myself from Corian counter top material scraps. The MAK 90 now sports a TAPCO Galil style fore end and East German stock. The M-1 Garand has a Boyd Bros. grey laminate stock. I have to replace the forend parts to match.

Here are a couple of pics of the flintlock rifle my dad built from scratch last winter. He bought all the parts unfinished including the lock, which came in a kit. He had to heat treat the frizzen (the part the flint strikes) himself and polish and hand fit all the internal springs. The stock was a six foot long block of maple when he got that. One hundred eighty man hours of work later, the results speak for themselves. This is the seventh flintlock rifle he has built.

Here's some pics of my updated M17s, it has an EOTech 510 and Streamlight M3 mounted...

Image

Image

And it next to my Glock 19...

Image

I love the EOTech, its soo fast and its plenty precise enough for practical ranges. Even though it looks kinda funny and mall ninja-like, its a really good compliment to the M17 since its so easy to shoulder and put on target. The cool thing about the Streamlight is that it can go on my M17s, Glock, and Sub 2000 rifle. Gotta love interchangability
