I spent over 10 hours hand sanding and polishing the steel
About 6 hours cleaning the cosmoline out of the stock and refinishing it.

In my defense, however, this was in a training class and (IIRC) we were practicing transitioning from left shoulder to right to left to right and so forth. I had never done a drill like that before, so it looks pretty sloppy. Also, I'm not an expert by any means--that's why I have to take classes. :clownshoes:

It's an AK-47 (or as you'll correct me a century arms WASR)......but typically people think of Russia....you know, the "motherland", vodka etc?

It's just a picture dude. Sorry I posted it.

I don't think what I wrote would be lost on many people. Maybe lets take our "Johnny Literal" hats off and just appreciate pics of firearms without needing to wag our dangles around about our specific gun knowledge.

Here is a decommissioned Sterling Sub Machine gun.......but since we are being as technical as possible, it is an E-11 blaster imported from a Galaxy far far away.

"That's a huge bitch!"

But really, it feels like a giant musket with the can on there even though it's roughly equivalent to an M16's OAL.

:vmad:

Is it really that difficult? All you have to do is include a link, or an image of a firearm you own, or go post somewhere else. Sheesh.

Seriously, there's a firearms chat thread, there's an off-topic chat thread, and there is the handy dandy PM button for that sort of thing. :awesome:

See, look, even a monkey like me can follow the rules, and not post without posting pictures of his own firearms in here.
