I believe the length of the barrel is 14.5 inches (Which is 36.83 cm).Barr wrote:Anybody got measurements (length and width) for a 14.5 upper?

One of my uppers with a 14.5" barrel and pinned A2X is coming in around 23.25" from the muzzle to the back edge of the upper receiver.Barr wrote:Anybody got measurements (length and width) for a 14.5 upper?
ETA: Another upper, a BCM, was advertised as a 14.5" barrel, but is actually a 14.7". With an A2X it is closer to 23.5".

Re: Firearms Chat 5: #pewpewlife
Anyone here order stuff from Cabela's website ?
If so, how long does it take from the time you get the order confirmation email to the time your order actually ships ?
I ask because I ordered a Tactical Solutions compensator for my 22/45 last week and my order still hasn't shipped.

I am still waiting for the scope I ordered in 2015. They never charged my card or sent me a follow up EMail either. I still have the original order.

I'm going to give it until Friday and then I'll give Cabela's customer service line a call and see what's going on with my order.
This is my first time ordering from Cabela's website as I usually just stop by their brick and mortar store in Lubbock.

I bought 500 rounds of 9mm from Cabela's awhile back, along with some socks and a shirt. The ammo took a week to actully ship, and another week to get here and was the wong ammo. The socks took a month and a half. The shirt never shipped and was cancelled.

Re: Firearms Chat 5: #pewpewlife
I got the email that my order had shipped this morning, so I'm hoping my stuff gets to me soon.
It's supposed to reach my place by the 13th and if it doesn't, I'm calling the customer service line and asking what the deal is. Cabela's has been pretty good to me so far, but that's usually because I just stop by the actual store in Lubbock.
Depending on how this order goes, it may be my first and last online order from them.

You know the world is upside down when Dennis Rodman is our best hope for avoiding nuclear war and Botach handles your order better than Cabela's. Dogs and cats sleeping together. Mass Hysteria

You using their actual site or their Amazon storefront to make those orders ?Beowolf wrote:I've never had an issue with Botach. Have ordered from them many times.

I've ordered a couple items from Optics planet via Amazon and I've never had an issue either. I know Optics Planet has had issues with orders as well, so I went through Amazon instead of their main site.
Also, I just saw that Al Mar did a collaboration with Kershaw for some knives like Emerson did awhile back. I'd like an actual Al Mar knife, but I can't justify dropping 100 bucks plus on a knife that'd just end up in my knife drawer.
Which is why I haven't bought a US made Spyderco or a Benchmade knife yet.

I know Botach, AIM Surplus and a few others have Amazon storefronts, but I didn't know about the Ebay ones.

I have a CZ75 in matte stainless.JeeperCreeper wrote:I'm thinking about a cz75. Someone talk me out of it.
I like it....enough....
I just haven't gotten around to ordering more mags for it.
The Betetta 92FS's that I was using for USPSA/steel/IDPA competitions have the front straps and backstraps covered in skateboard tape. That is what I am used to.
The CZ75 I have doesn't have any skateboard tape on it yet. So it feels more slippery in my hands. I even bought some aluminum cheese grater like grips from the Brian Enos forums classifieds, and still feels real slippery.
About the only other thing that is different is the narrow slide....or rather the slide isn't that tall. So racking the slide takes a little bit different grip. Sling shotting the slide with just a thumb and index finger grip should be about the same.
I haven't bought a holster for it yet either.
