New Can - Need Help with Performance Issues

Post by AK49er » Sun Apr 02, 2017 1:25 am

I just got a stamp in for a shiny new can, and I have some severe mounting and performance issues I could use your help with.
The can is from a company called Mir, I was attracted to its very good price and very light weight.
I definitely am running subsonic (10" 300 Blackout 230gr).
The can doesn't seem to decrease noise at all, in fact it appears to increase noise when fired.
My barrel is DEFINITELY threaded 1/2x28, not sure why the can appears to have mount repeatibility issues from shot to shot.
Any ideas for a fix?
Pictures for reference.

I don't know too much about cans. Did you check the batteries?

I think the problem is that only works with Asian makes..... You'll probably find that the AK works better with a broken vodka bottle.

Maybe check your blinker fluid.
I am not a 'gray man'. I am a brown man, coyote brown. With FDE highlights, of course.
