Actually, revolvers do jam. The bullet can ease it's way out of the case, and lock up the action. This usually requires a significant amount of time to clear when it happens.

As for the Medusa, I'm not too fond of this gun. I've heard numerous reports of case splitting and the like when shooting some calibers in this gun. The gun will fire the caliber, but not well. Plus, accuracy tends to be reduced by making the gun capable of shooting a number of different calibers.

Plus, the gun isn't made anymore.

Hmm...g0od point. I've never heard of that happening before, though.

Some say the living will envy the dead. I don't.

The cylinder can also make its way out of time. This takes a gunsmith to fix.

The general rule of thumb is that semiauto pistols can take lots of abuse, and revolvers can take lots of neglect. A couple of sets of spare parts, a basic toolkit and an armorer's handbook will keep most semiautos running for a lifetime.

Many of the calibers it takes are common and relatively available.

Read what some people said and see how many of the rounds you may actually ever find.

I'm really skeptical of the quality of the Medusa as anything more than a curio. I've read a number of reviews from people who bought the gun and the consensus is mixed at best. It seems that very few people would rely on it to save their lives. Besides, the "revolution" in the gun industry that some people expected this gun to spur didn't really come, did it?
