family hammock or coolest tent/treefort EVER!

Seriously - this is the coolest hanging tent... family hammock... treefort/treehouse ever. The weight of the large one is a little limiting but man this is cool!

This is sweet!

I am thinking if I have to ask how much it costs.....
The dead go on before us they
Are sitting in God's house in comfort
We shall see them face to face--

That's the prime reason I don't own one. Great concept and follow-thru... the price killed it on our family budget. I still think they are pretty cool. Hopefully someone will pick up the ball and make an affordable version.

It is pretty cool, I'll definitely give you that. But I'm not sure there'll ever be an "affordable" version. There's a limited market for this kind of thing and it has to be so overbuilt that I don't see a lot of room for cutting corners.

About the only places I see this working are either some sort of eco-tourism outfit offering travelers "a night in the rainforest canopy", or maybe as a set piece in some zombie movie where a group seeks refuge from an ever gathering horde of zombies. Refuge, that is, until the sullen, good-for-nothing character that everyone hates discovers he still has a few smokes left and accidentally sets fire to his corner of the tent, depositing the survivors into the upstretched arms of the undead.

Man, is it so wrong that I see epic scenes of fighting zombies everywhere I look?

Price is Buzz Killington.
What if everyone was once a zombie but there was a human apocalypse?
