I learned about ZS through a friend of mine that went to a ZS event. I haven't seen any ZS activity on Oahu yet, but if I can get enough people interested I'd be interested in starting up a chapter.

I've been a martial artist most of my life, and I've been camping on and off since I was a little kid. I've developed an interest in survival techniques and gear over the years, as well as an interest in knives and cutting tools, and love to read and learn as much as I can about these topics. I also enjoy archery and casual target shooting, and have done some defensive shooting training, although I am not in the military nor in law enforcement. I've never had to use any weapons apart from my hands in an actual hostile encounter, and I genuinely hope I never have to.

Once the zombies rise, though, no holds are barred. =) I look forward to talking with you all, and hopefully finding others on Oahu.
