Yes a Spartan hoplite trained for battle since he could walk, backed by 299 other Spartans, and lead by a military genius can hold off any number of zombies armed with spear, shield, and sword. However your couch-potato, asthmatic, gets in a car to drive to the corner store lazy ass can't. Deal with it.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I have been lurking here for a while, it is a really good forum.
No need to PM me for employer info. I am not working for one of the really high speed low drag companies like Blackwater or Triple Canopy. I am more of a glorified security guard then anything else. Although I get to carry an automatic weapon and my uniform looks like something from Rommel's Afrikorps. I am working for Group 4 Global Risks. We are a sub contractor on this project for ITT. If you are interested in this kind of work I found the job listing at Wackenhut.com. If you come out to Kosovo IM me and we will get together and watch some Zombie movies.
As for the nuts and bolts of the job, I am afraid I can't say to much, but is more due to confidentiality then it being all glamorous and such. Kosovo is a rather low risk posting. The people here actually like Americans since we saved them from genocide. They are a lot more interested in putting their lives back together then in messing with us.
