Re: KCI expo center gunshow report.

I went down to the KCI expo center gunshow. Here's a quick report for those who might want to go tomorrow. The best both was the CMMG booth. They had a cool collection of ACOGs, uppers, lowers, etc. They also had a.... HK 416 UPPER! For the mere price of $4,200... I noticed the bolt could allow FA,...

Re: Something new I have never seen before

So I was looking at AOWs on gunbroker and found this http://www.palmpistol.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I don't have much of use for it, but have never seen it on here. figured I'd bring to yuns' attention. It is a heck of a lot better than not having a gun. But for 300 bucks...

It doesn't look too bad.

If you want to keep your shoulder intact I wouldn't shoot it twice though.

He's going in the Navy guys and if he's lucky he will not get stationed in Cali. Which means if he's getting the rifle now he more than likely will be using it someplace else. And storing it at the on base firing range. From what I understand the Siaga is Cali legal but also convertible. So later he...

Re: SHTF- is there a role for SA pistols AND revolvers?

The only revolver I would own or carry is a .357. I can't see the reason for a new revolver to be made in any other caliber unless your hunting with it. Calibers other than .357 are either to big for everyday personal protection or to small for me to feel the target would go down fast enough. My aut...

Re: Full Auto- advantage or a disadvantage in SHTF?

As for those AR three and four round burst options. I have never had the chance to fire one so is it true that they don't work as advertised? That if you let off the trigger in the middle of the burst you have to manually cycle the action again to reset it? If thats true then I would never use the f...

I've never done the conversion before.

But if you convert a Siaga to accept the regular AK mags how hard is it to convert it back?

This guys from the 'other' republic and might want to go back there someday. So hauling around a converted weapon might not be a good thing for him.

Stop sign logo with SGW inside it. Schuetzen Gun Works - the company now known as Olympic Arms. Does it say "Olympic Arms" on it anywhere? I seem to recall most of their ARs from that era had both names on them. Yep. It says Olympic arms and give a short address. I called Olympic and they said the ...

Get a valve for the large filling hole and make up one of these if you have a simple welder.

Mags since they will be the easiest to restrict.

Ammo just because.

The best parts you can to finish what you have.

Any other fire arm that you really want.

Accessories for what you have.

Has anyone ever thought about the "Dollar General"* stores instead of the large mega-marts? they will not usually have lumber in stock, but you should have your own stock already. :?: The first place Zombies go is to the places they were familiar with in life. For those who think I meant to leave the bark on and build with it. No you ONLY leave the bark on to dry the wood. You take it off to work it. For one the bark does end up making a fine home for bugs. But the more immediate problem is that bark holds a LOT of dirt. And dirt is the biggest thing that...
