Re: Dnepr Motorcycles?
Get a used Ural. Save yourself a few years headache. They have never stopped making them since WWII and all the bugs are out of them. I have NEVER bought a new bike and have NEVER regretted it. Heck I even bought one in pieces. Put it back together in a month and drove it with no problems for 3 more...

Re: Deer Season
I keep driving by the best places but I haven't hit one yet. I think I've wasted about 20 bucks in gas so far. Deer vehicle accidents happen so often around here that the cops don't even bother coming out to take a report. They just ask you to take pics and come down to fill out any reports if you w...

Re: Full Auto- advantage or a disadvantage in SHTF?
well considering how hard it is to get fa as a citizen most will be aks with shaved firing pins and the hammer riding the bolt so im not so worried about going against it because hopefully the out of chamber detination will take care of that if im right unless its rare in ak-47s n such?? I didn't t...

Honestly I'm putting of buying nothing.
I don't want any new guns.
A ton of new parts for what I have is what I want. And thats waiting on funding right now.

Re: Ciener conversion for the AR
BlackDog Gen II mags worked perfectly (it actually ships with one 27 rounder and I bought two additional). When the two conversions are compared side-by-side, they look very similar but the CMMG one is heftier and better built IMHO. I'm going to stick the conversion and a mag into my BoB in place o...

Actually my local plama cutter is in walking distance but they will only do the work if I'm working from a sheet at least 4 by 4 feet. They also make parts for rail cars mainly.
So I'm more than likely just be cutting it myself.

Re: What are your obstacles to evacuation?
Since a few have mentioned bridges. What are a few peoples ideas on how to get through or around these problems? Some armed local hoard could be asking for a toll. I could see small local towns setting up road blocks and such just to keep out the riff raff. If that happened I bet quite a few of our ...

Re: Dnepr Motorcycles?
Call your local dealer. The Urals have the powered side car. They might have a used one sitting around waiting for a buyer. Americans who like this style of bike are also the older set who tend to be American only hard heads. The Harley only crowd. When Ural originally began shipping into the states...

Does he drive by the club everyday?
Maybe thats how they are sending through his blue tooth.
They might be hitting everyone who is stopping at the traffic light in front of the club.

I've asked at two other places and I got short answers.
Can you wait a year?
Not at that price.
We don't do that type of work.
But I will email them and ask.

Custon made blades
I'm looking for someone who can make a custom blade from a design I give them. It doesn't need to be hammer forged. It isn't going to have any finish. And no handle. Just a hunk of metal cut from a sheet of metal and hollow ground to an edge. If I can't find someone to make exactly what I want then ...

Re: Ciener conversion for the AR
In the air force I had the miss fortune of using the Ceiner kit in basic. Never used it after that. But it ran pretty go for me on regular bulk ammo. Full Auto and semi. Granted I think I got lucky because others were having some trouble with theirs. But then again they were the same people having t...

Re: Ciener conversion for the AR
screw JAC. I just got the new CMMG conversion kit. Works great and appears to be much more robust. Plus, you don't have to deal with Ceiner (which is always a good thing) Is the cmmg conversion rated for FA? No. http://cmmginc.secure-mall.com/shop/?cart=1316409&cat=38&" onclick="window.open(this.hr...

The Ural is a direct WW2 copy of a BMW. Side car can be included and they actually advertise OD green paint jobs. Or at least used to. From what I have heard you can order it in any paint you want and put what ever markings on it you feel like. http://www.imz-ural.com/gearup/" onclick="window.open(t...

What does it do to each finish type?
Does one finish produce better or worse results than any others?
Any examples in wood?

When I was in Texas I didn't notice it much at all. But up here in Ohio gun shows draw them like flies. Anymore if I go to one I'm going for one or two specific things and only those things. Like hard to find parts. I recognize the same dealers so I know who would have them or not and ask them right...

They might already have the heavy equipment and all you need are the dies, cases and expendables. They could save your a few ...
