Re: Guys, I need a price check, and a buy/don't buy on a Wal

At this point, I'd be mounting it in a padded vise and using a similarly padded wrench (possibly with an extension if necessary) to work on that bushing.

Hawken: War is a Machine

http://www.playhawken.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; F2P Future Mech FPS/RPG. I've been playing the alpha, and soon the closed Beta, and I can tell you that if you like FPS games, and oldschool RPG Mech games with lots of customization/weapons, this is an excellent blend of the ...

Re: The War Z PC Game

I don't think its such a bad thing. Makes you try harder to survive. Besides, you get 5 character slots. When you die only the character that dies is locked out, not your account. So what's the point? Also early on, with bugs and general figuring out wtf is going on, (based on dayZ) you could be lo...

Re: Fallout: New Vegas

IMO Fallout needs to stick to West Coast-ish CONUS, the tries at other places have been train wrecks (Except Fallout 3 which was only slightly horrible) the lore is well established and I'd rather see them build on the previous games then add more. That. There were 3 games on the West Coast before ...

Re: Guys, I need a price check, and a buy/don't buy on a Wal

I couldn't find any videos, or instructions anywhere. My search-fu is weak. :gonk: And the barrel bushing seems to be stuck. It will not move, at all. Try some blackpowder solvent or something similarly harsh, and soak the thing in a tupperware overnight. See if that loosens anything up. Work the a...

Re: Guys, I need a price check, and a buy/don't buy on a Wal

Yeah I mean the waffenamt proof stamp with a tiny eagle and WAxxx under it, with numbers instead of x's. Good luck stripping it. Lots of euro pocket pistols used a modified version of Brownings barrel retention, with a grooved sliding piece that fit into the barrel as you rotated it. Youtube is prob...

Little blurry. Can't see an obvious chicken. Oughta be two visible from that perspective, one on the frame, one on the barrel.

Look for chickens first. "Made in Germany" is, despite some people's insistence otherwise, not proof it was used by the German military.

Make sure you check function and verify caliber. AFAIK they're all 6.35mm.

Re: The War Z PC Game

Being locked out of my character for a 24hr period upon death by zombie or death by a another player, after purchasing the video game or investing money into it, and the little time I have to play, equates into a lose-lose scenario for me. This will kill the game. I really had no interest in this t...

Re: New NBC drama: Revolution

You know what irritates me more than the clean unworn looking clothes. The wearing their back packs with just one strap. There is this stupid trend in Hollywood movies and in TV to show people hiking around with a back pack but only using one shoulder strap. Come on people, you don't hike with only...

Re: Student shot by police officer at my college

Out of curiosity, how many 'naked guy' calls have you responded to in your AO? Around here, they're pretty much all on something. A couple just drunk, most on harder drugs. Acting aggressively would usually indicate harder drugs. Drunk to the point of naked is barely standing without help. At any r...

Glad we're back on track and not arguing about how many ED-209's it takes to make a city suck.

Re: Global Cooling will kill us all!

Diesel used to be a lot cheaper than gasoline in the U.S.....Up until about 15 years ago. What changed? Hell if I know. It was something that happened slowly over the course of several years....I remember back in highschool gas was $0.90 a gallon, and diesel was around $0.75. Then diesel started co...

I though it was more like "Hmm, 1.3 meter rifle difficult to conceal under coat... <hefts hacksaw>" mystic_1 bingo Wartime bring-back in an era where gun ownership was illegal for the common people. That, yes. In a country where you are a minority who could, at any time, have your entire harvest ta...

Re: The All Purpose AK Thread

It's a 1/10 twist? What ammo do you intend to use in it? Not sure. I.O.'s propaganda says it's 1/10. But some of the reviewers, and a Radom Rep, said it was 1/9. :? I figured I'd smoke-test some 55gr FMJ and BTs, 62gr FMJ and 75 TAP (since that's what I have stocked). I'd imagine 40-55 would do fin...
