Re: First-Line Gear

You're right; it's not that much drop, and the ubl is really stiff and so is the belt. But it does make sure there's no chance of that 'flip' in there which might prevent the holster from releasing the gun. I don't even notice the strap. This is definitely more of a 'hip' holster than a 'thigh' hols...

Re: First-Line Gear

Thanks, it's the Ronin Tactics Taskforce belt. It's crazy stiff and versatile. I've got three Esstac KYWI pistol mag pouches and two KYWI AR mag pouches. I've also got a Tactical Tailor dump pouch over the rifle mag pouches. The inner belt is crazy stiff also. The other side is a Safariland UBL mid ...

Re: Pay it Forward - Firearm parts and accessories

I have this G-CODE OSH holster right hand black which is supposed to fit the Sig SP2022 but doesn't seem to. It doesn't fit the Sig SP2009 or the SP2340 either. I tried to research it and it seems there was a running change in the accessory rail. So, somewhere out there is a version of the SP2022 th...

Re: Poor Man's Weaponlight

Ok, I'm seriously looking at the L2M and the L2P now, only a couple dollars difference between the two. The L2P has that PD edge on the bezel, which is the only difference I can see between the two. My question is, since it looks like the battery tube on each comes in two parts so you can make them...

Re: Poor Man's Weaponlight

What about this for a rifle? It's the Aimpoint one for a rifle. Comes with mount for $40. Only bitch is it has a pressure switch and not a button on the back. Could you find a button for it? I wonder if they make another version with a button. EDIT - Includes on/off end cap. $40 is cheap enough for...

You can own a fine collection of weapons, or have a closetful of fucking guns. This seems like the former rather than the latter. Good stuff.

Re: NSW to switch to Glock

Police purchases are often based on the lowest bid rather than the best choice So are military purchases. Regardless it is hard to find a reliable cheaper service pistol than a Glock. Romisen's RC-N3 was made to run on 2 AA's with an extension tube or one CR123. I carried it for a while in it's shorter, brighter configuration but didn't love the multiple modes (high, low, strobe). I personally like a one mode light, although my current everyday has four modes. http://images.tapat...

Re: Dropping a holster (or how I finally got rid of the drop

I posted this elsewhere, but I think it's pertinent to this thread: It turns out that the two bolt spacing for Safariland's molle locking fork MLS16 for accessories matches G-CODE holsters. So, you can pretty much use any Safariland mount with this setup: http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/24/9522...

Re: Ultimate ZS Battle/Scout Belt Thread

I feel like I see USP G-CODE holsters all the time and cheap. G-CODE holsters are actually compatible with Safariland accessory molle locking forks, so you can mount them on things like MOLLE or a Safariland UBL, etc. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/24/5b19a3a68db6262e0be5065ed5546b0e.jpg Sent ...

Re: Non-DL holster thread was a bit of a bust...

I'd advise you to get a Safariland holster, any one that you like, with a rigid drop/offset adapter for it in the length you want so that the hip belt of the pack clears your gun, like this: https://www.copquest.com/safariland-6075-low-ride-belt-loop-adapter_23-2410.htm It comes in a few different ...
