Re: SOPMOD Block 2.5 Build (WARNING! 56K DEATH!)

It is a nice rifle indeed , but a purist would point out that there is not really much there that is actually in the SOPMOD package

Re: Anyone hunt with their SHTF long guns?

I have not been hunting a lot of years , but I have a friend that uses his Arsenal AK for deer every year and another that uses a Springfield M1A Scout .

Re: advice on 308 AR upper and lower

CMMG does not have that good of a reputation. DPMS I have heard good and bad. Are you serious !?!?!? Nevermind....Good luck. I'm out. I have owned 3 CMMG uppers (still own 2 ) and they have been flawless . I bought them years back when they were the flavor of the month in the AR world and they offe...

Re: Axe Skills, and info

I did an 8 day canoe trip in the Boundary Waters at the beginning of the month . A friend brought his Granfors hatchet along . After using it a bit , I cannot believe what a piece of junk my Gerber is in comparison . :gonk:

Now I need one . :D

Re: Minneapolis Mn area

The things holding me back from being more involved are my goofy work schedule (nights) and mainly the fact that getting to a meeting is tricky for me if we keep doing them in the burbs cause I live in MPLS and ride a bike everywhere .

I used a Colt side sling mount(203) on my midlength . Does not interfere with my light on a piece of rail with a VTAC mount .

Re: Looking for a $50ish folder

No contest, the Enlan EL-02. Available on ebay from $12-18 bucks and it is a BEAST. For $50 you can buy 4 of them and sell em to your buddies for $25-30 a piece (which they are worth) and yours is free and you get a nice little profit for your trouble. http://i1197.photobucket.com/albums/aa422/blue...

Re: All purpose "Help me build my AR" thread.

I have a Larue fixed . If it was out at the time I bought mine , I would have gotten the Daniel Defense .

Can't go wrong with either of those or an LMT as well as far as fixed BUIS go .

The Witcher 2 is awesome .

It is like an old school RPG before they dumbed them down for 12 year olds with ADD.
