Re: Riots in St Louis?

Police just made themselves known as enemies of the State. They ordered the media to stop recording and turn off all equipment.

Also helps when sanding/painting, etc. Keep a sealed filter or two handy for 'preps' and/or spares.

You bet your ass. You see that dusty shit when the twin towers came down? That gave everyone horrible diseases? Yeah, not getting that shit if there's an earthquake and a tower goes down.

Of course in my case gas mask means P100 particulate filters galore.

Weird, we must have different manufacturers. One handed I can't even make the two sides touch. Then how is it collapsible? My 1qt is too thin skinned, just holding by one hand can squeeze water out.

I swear too, especially when you hold it too tight and water gushes out while drinking.
I've never had that problem in two years of using my pair.

Meh. Call 911, find a nice dark corner of the house facing the front door, grab shotgun, relax. Not my first time around live fire, won't be my last.

Re: How to send texts with no cell service

What about pagers? Receive only pagers require a radio base station to transmit the messages to them. Two-way pagers require a transmitter-receiver base station to communicate with. Many times the base stations are on high mountain tops and require power and connections to a network to complete a p...

If anyone has live bedbugs in the Seattle area, I'd love to get my hands on a few. I have...experiments to run.

The little bastards can survive three months or more without blood, and I can feed them using a simple contraption. I want to try various methods to kill them in a more...confined setting.

Man, even if super Ebola or mega Smallpox got out of a lab, there's enough safety features to prevent it from escaping. I feel better knowing that they have these deadly viruses, if only because they can work tirelessly, and risk their own lives, to find a cure. Huh. Super Ebola vs Mega Smallpox. Ne...

Bottle caps. I'm going full on Fallout here, and expanding on Browning's post. You need a currency that's readily available. Printing money will not work, gold and silver are too rare and out of the reach of the average schmuck. Coins could work, but you'd have to have a crapton of them, and once th...
