So you and the bear have good taste in places to lie down? I'm liking this bear already.

Re: Proposed site for next campout

No, thank you. I was completely unprepared for this, but now I have a list of everything I need for the next one. Thanks for puting up with me, I'll try to have all my shit together and ready next time. Mainly proper food and a way to cook it. First thing I did was take a long shower. Then I just ho...

Re: Proposed site for next campout

I've got a Sawyer Mini and a Steripen I've been dying to try out, so that's why I was curious. And yeah, water is cheap, but using what I got is more fun.

Re: Proposed site for next campout

I don't have guns, I'm still trying to get a cookware and stove set, and I have no transportation. I do however have $40 to go towards food, a pop up tent, enough cereal and granola to last a frigging month, and basic first aid supplies for several people.

Anyone able to pick me up on the Eastside?

Can't top Bea Arthur, but I keep a decent mono-white MTG deck in my BOB. In my neck of the woods, it'll be the only surviving form of entertainment.

Man, the only helmet I have is an old Seattle Office of Civil Defense brodie helmet from '59. If they made a modern version of those, I'd buy ten.

Yes, because the big bad United United Nations is gunning for you. With death camps sponsored by FEMA and Wal-Mart.

Woah. That's fucking nuts. Not extremely dangerous, but nuts nonetheless. Also, sperm is still contagious for months afterwards?

Re: How to discuss terrorism without breaking Rule #7?

Suggestion two: Have you considered making a new website called Terror Squad? You can have blackjack and hookers there and talk about whatever you want. Or alternately, literally anywhere on the internet except here. Oh, man. Terror Squad is a great name for a death metal band. Also, terrorism is t...

Depending on condition, I have about twenty things to build. Basically every possible piece of furniture a house needs, from tables and chairs to counters and headboards, bookshelves, entertainment centers, and anything else under the sun.

Kilo's EDC/GHB setup

It's heavy and far from perfect. But i like it, and it feels good, man. I still need a lot of equipment, bandages, both israeli and triangular, chest seals, QuikClot bandages, and everything else that I'm missing. You guys know it better than me. Anyway, to the pack. http://imgur.com/iGdQZ81.jpg The...

BTW, excuse me, but WTF is a Murphy Kit???? Is that like a Morgan Lens? Help me out guys. I would presume a kit for whatever could go wrong via Murphy's Law. Or at least within reason. So far, I'm loving this kit. Reminds me of a better version of my own, it's compact, pretty basic, but complete en...

Re: Made to Order Glow in the Dark, Waterproof, Topo Maps

So I got one, and the guy shipped me two, since I absolutely ruin my maps. First things first, it smells. Not horrendously, sort of a waxy smell. It's actually not that bad, but it is noticeable. It's really, really thin. Weighs almost nothing. And. I'm terrified I'll tear it in half sneezing. So fa...

Cascadia Subduction Zone fully locked.

:ohdear: The Cascadia Fault is completely quiet. Disturbingly quiet. Pressure is building and a major quake is coming. There is no if, and, or but about it. Northern California to Vancouver, BC are now at risk. If you live in this area, fuck the 3 day kit, build a 2 month kit. I never thought I'd sa...

Re: Riots in St Louis?

So one person throws a plastic water bottle, you form a battle line, raise your guns at peaceful protesters, turn on the LRAD, and push people back, telling them that if they aren't moving, they'll be arrested, then after a fucking white supremacist tosses a shitty molotov, they round up the media i...
