Re: Launching Them Into the World

store a couple cases of bottled water in room (under bed), weeks worth of food (kept locked in a truck). Maybe rent a storeage unit near the school for bulkier emergency supplies (camping gear, more food, weapons?).

Don't go crazy grabbing up these 'free' items. They are for paying customers, and only take a couple each visit. Our fave place to eat was Lone Star steakhouse (they closed last month). Last year we noticed none of the tables had sweetner for the drinks and asked for some. The waitress told us due t...

Our insurance co. has a thing where we can call for roadside assistance. Few months ago I had a flat, called the guy out, and the spare was flat. he reinflated it in a few minutes with an electric air pump.

Does my Get Home bag in my office count s EDC? We started because of Y2K, just a few weeks of food and water added to the kitchen. BUT. we used it as an excuse to add something we had always wanted to the house. We rationalized that it would save our lives if the grid went down New Years Eve, as everyone was afraid of. We had a fireplace install...

I would have gone somewhere else, a friends place, shopping, or to a movie and go home after the parade was over before...

I'm allowed to defend myself only with equal force (fist v fist, knife v knife etc)
