Re: 2015 goals

2015 goals: get this lame HOA house sold and get some land closer to the wife's job (I can work anywhere. benefit of being in Film.) drop another 3-5% body fat (made my goal of getting from 24% down to about 21% this year. Want to be between 15-17% overall, I think I'll be happy there.) get a couple...

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

If I remember correctly, NC recently changed some of its tax breaks for movies and the industry isn't happy. It won't make a huge difference. Dino DeLaurentis built a studio complex there in the 1980's the King Kong sequel and the Stephen King werewolf adaptation Silver Bullet were filmed there. Ag...

Yeah I'm pretty interested in knowing just what their goals/game is there. What are they trying to accomplish?

Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Gotta say so far I'm enjoying it. Love cyberpunk stuff, and this game feels a bit Gibson/Stephensen-esque.

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

Having Carol and Daryl hook up would totally wreck the sibling-like relationship they have now. Sent via carrier wave. I'm so hoping Daryl turns out to be gay. You never see a gay dude on the telly that is truly badass. You are correct. BUT, in Boondock Saints (a movie Norman Reedus was in which 99...

Ok, Ok ok... if I had to rely on the minitruck for my BOV I'd be screwed I admit. But I'm so damned happy right not about this I have to share. The Z32 swap cranked today. Re: The 100 on CW

Actually, there could be some discontinuity. Towards the end of season 1, they were emphasizing the direness of approaching winter. Now, the weather outside seems nice. Or maybe it's conveniently sunny days and Camp Jaha brought enough rations for everyone so Finn and Bellamy don't have to bother a...

Also, that space walk, or jump, was nifty. Yeah. But he would have died from that in real life. You don't survive exposure to the cold vacuum of space if your helmet breaks open. Actually... that was one part of the last episode I was impressed by. They didn't go standard Hollywood "OMG vaccum ur d...

Re: The 100 on CW

Could do without the relationships, or less focus on that, but since that's what the target demographic wants, that's what they get. Yeah if you read the book this show is based on, you'll be thankful for the lack of relationships in the TV show. Trust me, it could be much much worse. The book was ...

Not exactly bugout gear traditionally, but something I thought the rest of you might be interested in, especially in cold weather areas and with access to power for charging it. Bought the wife one of these Gerbing heated Core Jackets. Has 4 zones that run anywhere from 85 to over 120 degrees temp t...

Forgot to post it in here at the time but a couple weeks ago I picked up some CCI 100rd bricks for $9.99 a brick. Way better price than I've seen around here in a long time.
