How do you fix a flashlight?

School me on fixing flashlights? Or share links? I've got a Fenix E21 that I want to use as a hand me down for my son. But it's not working. Bulb? I can't seem to get to it.The bottom and top of the battery cavity opens. But not the place where the bulb would be replaced.

"1 pair of high-leg hunting boots" What are these exactly? And why are they required in the Arctic? Sounds like those knee high logger boots! I would assume they would come in handy during warmer parts of the year if the contest lasted that long. This year seems to have the group work the best skil...

Re: Group bug out project- recommended apps?

Thanks for the feedback and input guys. Totally tracking the cons of trusting technology in a disaster. Even during New Years eve my cell phone provider gets swamped and messages don't send, sometimes for hours. No lying to ourselves about the shortcomings and problems, that includes security conce...

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

It's that time of year (SDCC)....so here's the season 10 trailer... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qn1kXp9T9EY I feel a little better having watched this. I'm getting tired of the "fantasy" parts of this series. When it started it was a serious dramatic series. Now it's turned into some kind of fan...

Re: Group bug out project- recommended apps?

I think most of you are missing the point. And half the fun. They're in the planning stages. No reason not to use the vast technology at their fingertips. Everything can be printed out. And used offline. How else are you going to organize such a group? By mail? Only in person? They are 300km away fr...

Re: History Channel Alone survival series

Where else can you find these series? Netflix? It's being broadcast on the History Channel. No Netflix. And I doubt you could find in to torrent. As it's not that popular of a show. But maybe. I doubt it's playing anywhere else. As it's just being broadcast. You might find earlier seasons on Amazon...

SPoiler Alert!!!!! Don't read any further if you haven't watched it yet. He got a Moose. That's pretty impressive. Especially how he set his hunting area up with natural fencing. That was a pretty detailed strategy to get a Moose. Now if he can keep the meat... Some of the shelter structures need so...

Re: Glow in the dark paracord.

I mean this in a sincerely non-judgmental way, but it's just the sort of thing a younger person has to do at least once in life in order to learn (the hard way) that one doesn't put something heavy and valuable in their shirt pocket. Especially if they're going to go romping around in the sand. Not...

Glow in the dark paracord.

My son went to the beach the other night with friends. And I let him take my Jeep. 2 hours in he calls and says he was carrying the keys in shirt pocket. And they fell out in surf/sand on the beach. And it's now dark. It was Saturday night. And he was much to far away for AAA to do anything about it...

So I got the ugly ass flares painted. And the 80's fat side steps removed. Before and after pics below. I used less than one can of SEM adhesion promoter and one can of SEM trim black. I prepped them with Dawn, then hit them with grey automotive scotch brite pads and water to get the black dye I tri...

Haven't been here in a while but I am happy to see you like the "Adder" I designed together with Ek Archery. It is based on the RX platform but sports a magazine, allowing very quick follow-up shots. This is the crossbow that I was looking for all those years. - High rate of fire - Easy to cock . W...
