Too vague. What was the apocalyptic event that cause the HPAW? I'd take a ZPAW over a nuclear PAW but a natural disaster PAW over a ZPAW. I'd say that general devolution of human ethics and behaviors would be what destroys civilization in this case. Or perhaps an invasion by China, which could cert...

Wow, 11 people have voted and so far not even one has vote for ZPAW being worse.

I bet some of you would change your mind if the zombies were fast.

Which is worse - ZPAW or HPAW?

I was wondering what you guys (and gals) thought. Which would be worse - a ZPAW with zombies or an HPAW with regular humans?

I figure zombies can't think or shoot back. And they would probably move slowly. On the other hand: Zombies! YIKES! *shudder*.

Opinions, please!

One of the key reasons the U.S. armed forces switched from the M1 Garand and M14 to the M16 platform was because of this very issue. A smaller rifle that utilized modern technology and a modern cartridge allowed for more supplies and ammunition to be carried. Wow, that's actually a really good reas...

How many clips/magazines?

Good evening, Tonight, I was taking my dog out to go the bathroom. While he was tugging me around on his leash, I realized it was very cold. My view afforded the lights of much of my part of my little town. Another dog was barking in the distance. Otherwise, there was not a sound. I don't know if it...

Great Zombie Movie Deal

Hello, all! Today I was a Best Buy and found a deal I couldn't pass up. There was a set with 9 movies on 3 DVDs for $6.99. The set is called "The Living Dead." Now, not ALL of them are zombie movies, but most of the are and there's a couple of PAW movies, especially "The Last Man on Earth," based on...

WOOT! Had fun bump-firing my WASR-10 AK yesterday. It cost me about four clips to really get it down. The trick is that when you are using your thumb to bump the trigger, DON'T LET YOUR THUMB MOVE! At all. I made my thumb grab onto the edge of my jeans pocket and I got all thirty rounds out with no ...

Do I get to pick the maker of the Garand or the type of AR-15 say M4?
That depends, is the M4 more expensive?

Both guns are in no way the same. I don't know how to even respond. :?: The fact that they are different is irrelevent. Let me clarify my question. What I mean to ask is: If a PAW occurred and you had two weapons sitting on a table in front of you, an AR-15 and a Garand, both with plenty of ammo, w...

[quote="Coal-CrackerTheir best buy is their STG58. They are made from Austrian kits on their own receiver. They aren't cheap, but can be found for around $900-$950 if you look around. (Since you mentioned an AR earlier, I assumed this wasn't out of your price range.) (DSA's "higher end" rifle is the...

Are they legal (i.e. stricly semiautomatic)? How much are they? Where can a person get a FAL?

The weapons I'm buying for a PAW situation must be, above all, RUGGED. I currently have a Mauser K98 for the long shots. They are TOUGH. Also, I have an AK-47, which could probably be eaten and passed by a zombie and still function. What I need is an in-between gun. Something that's both semiautomat...

Also, by lower power, what powers are you recommending? 2X? 4X? 6X?

And again, how about a full-sized lower power scope instead of a compact?

Why not a full-sized, low power scope rather than a compact low-power?

Okay, one last question:

Would you recommend a full-size or compact scope for the AK-47? The scope mount will be side-rail.

Thanks,

ZSers in Western NC?

Hiya,

I'm looking for fellow ZSers to meet up with in western North Carolina. Is there anyone around here, or will I be fighting the zombie hordes alone?

ZPAW? What does it mean???

Hi, If I see an acronym, I *HAVE* to know what it means. I've searched the forums for hours and can't find what ZPAW means. Now, I have figured out it's an Zombie end of the world situation (I think), but I don't know what the acronym stands for and it's driving me crazy. Can't someone post a FAQ? :...

AK iron sights are difficult to use at 100 yards. Now, I -CAN- use the iron sights at 100 yards and can sometimes even hit my target, but it would be easier and more efficient to use a scope. A LOT easier. Please don't try to convince me not to get a scope. Seriously. Note the thread title isn't "pl...

I just received my siderail scope mount and it's SOLID AS A ROCK, and was that way even before I tightened down the Alan screws. Another question (I'm full of them): What's the advantages/disadvantages of a red dot scope over a traditional maginified crosshairs scope? What about a red dot scope with...

No offence but I woulden't spend money on any of those scopes, you get what you pay for in optics. I understand that, but since I don't actually HAVE much money to spend, the idea of buying an expensive one because it's good is irrelevant. That being said, I need an idea for one I -CAN- afford that...
