had a run-in with a bg...

The OP states the other guy started the violence. The lawyer for the other guy might state it differently, perhaps that the man was afraid the trespassers would run him over. Both sides behaved badly. Both sides should just let it drop. Swinging a 2x4 and firing a rifle are not lighthearted fun. Th...

Is this from the big shootout towards the end of "Heat"? If so, I wholeheartedly agree. The response of the Val Kilmer character to the ambush was perfect.

USA Ammo

An update on my order of 480 168 gr .308 (7.62x51) match JBTHP cartridges from USA Ammo... The shipment arrived in five days. It was two sturdy cardboard containers tightly taped together. The cartridges are in normal looking paper boxes with plastic spacers. The cartridges look good as new, no burr...

Spokane-Hide your women and children!

Welcome to Spokompton! I have also spent most of my life in this area. If you're okay with cultural isolation and the occasional police brutality (Spokane police are famous for the warning shots to the chest) you'll do fine. Mead is probably the best funded school district but they're all mostly abo...

your roomate in the POW

In the popular media, your newfound friend will be a supermodel of the appropriate gender and enthusiastically grateful for everything you have done and will do.

You are doing it wrong.

Civilian VS Military Gear - Pics included

I can't say that I'm invisible but it is close.

USA Ammo

They are now selling "match" 168 gr JHPBT ammunition. One of the two negative review that I have found ended up being a rave about their customer service. They also had very attractive pictures. So... I have ordered a case.

Standby for a review.

(No affiliation, of course)

Arctic Circle Motorcycle Tour

A kick-start on a KLR is like an extra handle on an ax. It should be an awesome trip, I've done it by car and intend to do it by bike sometime. Just some random thoughts: 1. Is your doohickey done yet? It may not be necessary but having it done is cheap insurance. 2. It looks like you're spending a ...
