Re: Chronicles of quitting cold turkey

Acetylcholine is the one you're thinking of, and it doesn't have the same effect as nicotine, therefore will have no effect regards cravings. it's naturally produced for muscle control and other things like memory. The reason nicotine works is because it is like acetylcholine and can hit the recepto...

Re: Unlocked smart phones

Here is my situation: So, what are the benefits of an unlocked phone? Thanks Unlocked phones (especially) smart phones mean very little in the US. What it means is its not locked to a specific carrier and by changing sim card you can move from one provider to another. Problem with with that is ther...

Re: Chronicles of quitting cold turkey

Change your habits in the morning to avoid craving, keep your will strong!

I just gave up a month or so back myself and found changing certain routines helped a lot when I encountered cravings.

Re: Attemped mugging or assault?

In short, a woman that draws a firearm on a man that grabbed her ass isn't in the wrong in my book . She's the victim of a sexual assault, a felony (usually) and should be able to defend herself and detain the felon at gunpoint until an arrest can be made. In your opinion, in my opinion, in our opi...

Re: Anybody ever try this "light a fire with an orange" Tric

He scoops out maybe one segment of the orange, go try and make a fire with orange juice.

Now try doing this after you've injected an orange with isopropyl alcohol and a cleverly concealed ignition source.

You may wish to give more information than those few links, since mostly we take a dim view towards those who come to the site purely to advertise.

Please give us a synopsis of the film!

Re: RATS!

Do you have a friend with a terrier?

Where I lived back in the UK there was always someone willing to let their lil' dog come and chase down the rats

And yes, kill them as you find them, rats breed hella fast given a food source and somewhere to hide

Also it would be far easier to NUKE IT FROM ORBIT! than land and try for a land war, non? Anyway, I watched the first couple episodes, not as torturous as the first season, and it feels a lot darker and grittier in terms of set and cast dressing. It gets a 2.5 outta 5 from me, we'll see how the rest...

Whilst I can understand the thrust of your post, I can't say that things have changed much here in Shanghai. That being said, it is rather cosmopolitan here anyway.

Stay safe.

Re: How did you get your significant other on board?

If I am into prepping, and want to have a partner that is also into prepping, then I choose a partner that is either already into it or open to being into it. If I choose to have a partner that is not into prepping or camping and then later complain about that or have misgivings, I have failed in c...
