Re: Why Bear Grylls sucks.
I just want to clarify, Bear Grylls was in the TA, which is basically a weekend club for men who -wish- they were in the army. 'After leaving school, Grylls briefly considered joining the Indian Army and hiked in the Himalayan mountains of Sikkim. Grylls joined the Territorial Army and served as a r...

Pretty much every (soft) herb you use to cook with can be grown indoors, and I've had success with aloe and such in containers.

Re: oregon fat wood. a chunk of black gold.
's called stump wood due to what happens when a tree dies, sucking all its juices into the inner parts of the tree, and concentrating around the roots.
It's scandinavian black gold baby!

I find it much harder to remove the residue after removing the sticker than the above process. Mineral oil can also b...

I just now realised she was vivian volkoff on chuck - which can be forgiven since a) she was polished up quite damn nicely and b) she was using an english accentRickOShea wrote:Lauren Cohan is on CoCo.... Wow, she cleans up nice.
but wow, now I see it I'm more impressed at her acting ability

I didn't declare hate, I just dislike the man of mysterious intent style he started out with, which was a necessity given his projected audience - at least he's not as bad as david blaine. Since he started making the programs based more on 'how I actually do this stuff' I've come to like him a lot m...

Re: New NBC drama: Revolution
I think the main difference between Revolution and WD at this point is that the Revolutions people have a destination in mind, or at least something to travel towards, whereas in TWD they were just bumbling from one safe haven to the next. I predict much more in the way of movement for Revolution th...
