Pretty much every (soft) herb you use to cook with can be grown indoors, and I've had success with aloe and such in containers.

Just try everything!

Re: oregon fat wood. a chunk of black gold.

's called stump wood due to what happens when a tree dies, sucking all its juices into the inner parts of the tree, and concentrating around the roots.
It's scandinavian black gold baby!

Re: Cleaning sticker goo off GSI Dualist

a better way to do it would be to saturate the sticker whilst on the object with your solvent of choice, or mineral oil - it should completely peel off all in one go with no residue. I find it much harder to remove the residue after removing the sticker than the above process. Mineral oil can also b...

I just now realised she was vivian volkoff on chuck - which can be forgiven since a) she was polished up quite damn nicely and b) she was using an english accent

but wow, now I see it I'm more impressed at her acting ability

Re: ZPOC: Derren Brown style

I didn't declare hate, I just dislike the man of mysterious intent style he started out with, which was a necessity given his projected audience - at least he's not as bad as david blaine. Since he started making the programs based more on 'how I actually do this stuff' I've come to like him a lot m...

Re: New NBC drama: Revolution

I think the main difference between Revolution and WD at this point is that the Revolutions people have a destination in mind, or at least something to travel towards, whereas in TWD they were just bumbling from one safe haven to the next. I predict much more in the way of movement for Revolution th...
