Re: Firefight in Neighborhood.

Went thru this a few times since the backdoor neighbors were dealers as well as the ones a few houses down.

Get down, take cover, call 911, arm yourself, and stay out of it unless they threaten you or your family.

Fill it with twinkies, half cover it in your truck bed to make it seem like you are hiding it, so if an officer pulls you over and tries to open it he will get a delicious surprise.

*as we are walking to our next class at the university* Classmate: Why do you carry a First Aid Kit, extra socks, some food, and an umbrella in your backpack to school? Me: I like being prepared. Classmate: That's stupid lol. *4 minutes later* Classmate: Ahhh! Me: what happened? Classmate: IDK my fo...

Re: An Armed Robbery

I live on the border of Mexico/U.S.A and some of the drug cartel violence has spilled over to the point where cartels steal sports cars to run money up north and trucks to cross drugs, and since I drive a Camaro and my last class is at the university less than 200ft from the border and ends at 8 in ...

And old pal of mine is a big movie zombie fan but when it comes to actual firearms and tactics all he knows is from movies and games so here is is "professional" advice on a Zombie apocalypse: -Go and barricade at the mall cause it has food, clothes, and those metal gates at the store entrances. -If...

Re: $20 fire extinguisher saves valley

Nice job, it always helps to be prepared. Last year I got myself first aid and cpr certified and carried in my backpack everyday a first aid kit. My friends laughed at me until all in a period of one week 2 girls injured their knees, a guy fractured a finger, and one got a nail right thru his foot, ...

Re: Scenario time.

I would stay away from shootouts to survive, and use the old cold war emergency tunnel system to travel . Scavenge for what ever we can find, setup one small safe place where we can store supplies and try to set up a greenhouse on the roof of a building. I'm not a ninja turtle so I will have to pas...

Re: How many of you actually?

The Cordyceps unilateralis fungus is what I would say comes as close to a zombie virus as it comes, and to make it worst the government and many private institutions are experimenting on it because of it's medical potential so maybe they are also trying to make it stronger to cultivate some of its b...

Re: What is your knack/skill?

I'm mechanically inclined, especially automobiles. I'm a little above average marksman although it's been some good two years since I last went to a range. I can repair almost anything mechanical. I have a slow metabolism so I don't have to eat as often and can last a few weeks on a low food supply ...

Re: Real Game: Humans vs Zombies

We had this last halloween at my College. At first we believed it was just going to turn into a regular tag game but after we realized it was a 24hour 1 week long game it starts becoming a very serious game to everyone. I stayed at the campus from 7am to 9pm mainly to help my friends survive during ...

New From RGV Texas

Hi I'm from RGV deep down south in Texas, certified in First Aid and CPR, former member of the local marksman team, and a gearhead. Hope to learn a lot of stuff in this forum.
Nice to meet you all.
