Re: Firearms Chat Part 2: Bullpups cause all the rage!

Undead, nice wood. I want a lever gun just to get the entire receiver nickle boron'd  Thanks, I actually refinished the wood myself, and handed it off to the gun shop. RIT dye and polyurethane ftw. Here's a better pic the shop took: https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xap1/t3...

It's more of an "I don't pay for cable and download this shit" type of thing.

This might be old news, but I just learned of it. If you have any Winchester 22lr , check the lot and symbol numbers. It may contain double powder charges. http://www.winchester.com/SiteCollectionImages/mediacenter/newspr/match-recall-2.jpg I sold a 1k box of that to some guy for $100 a few months ...

Good deal. Looks like you're getting it under control. I had the same problem in the military with the M9, but spent days and days dry firing to get it right. Once I got out and started shooting guns with functional triggers, it got a lot easier.

Beautiful backdrop for some shooting.

The only gun I've ever sold is a redundant AR15 that I never shot anyway. I don't know if I could bear to sell any of my other guns.

So what? People doing what you've described are the reason everyone else haven't been able to buy it for the past year. Even worse are the guys that camp out every morning as you suggest, so they can take it to a gun show on the weekend and resell it to idiots for $70/box. You're really no differen...

I'm currently working on my 2nd AR-15 build, a pistol build, and need some opinions on the final parts. I'm going to order a BCM 11.5 LW upper and need a BCG. The two Ive been looking at for under $140 are Spike tactical and Yankee Hill Machine. Are both good to go or is one better than the other? ...

How do people feel about 1x4 scopes mounted on AR style rifles vs Red dots? The dilemma I am having is this. I currently have an Aimpoint PRO sitting on my 16' carbine in 5.56. Love it. But I am putting together a 16" carbine in 9mm. I am considering buying a 1x4 scope like the Vortex PST or Leupol...

But what if I want to run absolute co-witness? Then grab an XPS2, I suppose... but I'd generally ask someone WHY they favor absolute cowitness, as it really doesn't offer any sort of advantage that I know of. I just find it more comfortable I guess. But after fiddleling with my AR, I might give 1/3...

I'm going with an Eotech for my optic on my AR, but can't decide between the regular 512 AA battery version for cost, or the XPS series with the CR123 batteries for compatibility with my flashlight, and reduced bulk and weight? I would personally recommend going straight to the top of the line and ...

Re: Suppressor or Middy for Max?

I'm tempted to vote for the .45 suppressor due to the wider range of calibers it could accommodate, but I think I am leaning just a hair more toward the 9mm. You'll see about a 30%-50% increase in weight (with non-Ti suppressors) when comparing 9mm and .45 versions of the same can, as well as ~1" i...
