Re: All purpose "Help me build my AR" thread.
Alright folks pistol upper time (to be SBR'd at a later date) These are the one's on my radar. This is a fun gun, I don't think I'm deploying anywhere with it, so my budget is similar to what is posted below. I can't really get behind $500 for a BCM on this one. Which is my best bet here (and why......

Agreed $300 really isn't bad for earpro of the FUTURE. I'd probably be glad for a don't lose it cord.

Re: Firearms Chat 3: #pewpewlife
I got a stiffy when I saw those pop up last week or whenever. My main question is how long is battery life? Rechargeable at that size has me thinking not so long. Also when the battery dies do they still provide hearing pro? (I imagine so) But yes, no more ear muff rising off my ear for cheek weld, ...

Re: Firearms Chat 3: #pewpewlife
I don't really care for the handguard (people have actually been sticking MOE handguards on AKs for a bit now) but the buttstock seems pretty good from the limited experience I've had with it. Buttstock looks to be quite a bit more functional and easier on the shoulder than the crutch on my maadi :...

Re: Firearms Chat 3: #pewpewlife
Heya Rick, any insight on why that one is $99 compared to all other magpul handguards being ~$35? I'm going to get the stock for sure, and I'm definitely giggity for that extended handguard, but the price has me on pause. Well, its a fairly stout set-up. Both the full length aluminum chassis and th...

Re: Care and feeding for your boots
My problem with wearing boots is that the heels wear out on them. These are the sort of boots I wear Blackhawk 8 In. Warrior Wear Desert Ops Boot. http://www.uscav.com/productinfo.aspx?productid=22253&tabid=548 So is there a solution to that? A guy I knew when I lived in the UK had the problem of w...

Re: Complete AR-15 rifles brand new for 399.99
I just bought an 11.5" upper with a Melonite-finished barrel for $299, with BCG and charging handle. I'm not 100% about the durability of Melonite compared to a CHF chrome-lined barrel, but for that price it's too good to pass up. I keep seeing those. Holler with your impressions. I'm staring a hol...

i use wolf steel all the time. I keep a case of aguilar brass 9 around for indoor range use. Both work great at putting holes in paper. I don't see the wolf making anything that much dirtier. Why spend more?

Re: How \ Where do you store your magazines?
Yikes mine are everywhere. I have ak and ar mags in the pockets on the back of my car seats, in my rifles, and some in the pantry... Pistol mags are about as bad. I have a set in a range bag that I use for the range.

I would like to say a little thank you prayer for my eye not getting shot out by the buffer detent and spring as I cussed and cussed trying to remove a well lock tited buffer tube so I could put on a new pistol tube. That's sucker hit the ceiling with some force and had the decency to land in the bo...

Speaking of the Anderson uppers, how do we feel about them? It's tempting to get one of their smooth side uppers for $60 or whatever for a lonely lower I have sitting around. Maybe a pistol build with a paddle pistol brace with a side of fuck you
