Re: Predators WWYD

"To Catch a Predator" hasn't made it on that list yet. My uncle is really into it. He apparently volunteers with them by pretending to be a little boy online to get potential predators to want to meet him, which I think is creepy as shit on both ends, but whatev. Good to know someone else thinks it...

Re: Scorpion Swords and Knives LLC

those look fairly awesome, especially considering the custom work they will do. Nothing special about the forging process, just some good ol' spring steel. If Zombie Tools fails me in producing an Anti-Zed trench knife, then to them I'll go!

Carved a Machete handle/grip... Now What Blade to Use?

Soooo I was feeling particularly industrious about 9 months ago when I cut an oak limb, so I set a portion aside for future use. So now I have a custom made, solid oak handle, ready for a blade. I had a surplus style blade I intended to use, but now before I make things permanent, I'd like to get a ...

'twas worth a try. Also good to know we are racially diverse and accept goat-people amongst our ranks. Do we accept the people of the Potato King from the planet Purple? Heck, we even accept dewdz that go to dog shows. I don't think we can be any more accommodating than that... Do as I say, n...

Re: Want to study western, historical martial arts?

All my combat background stems from far too many happy hours of combat LARP, Kung Fu, and fencing. My fencing experience seems to give me and edge in LARP. That or my battle rage. I dunno witch. :D

Nothing wrong with them... other than their ridiculous markup. Stuff easily costs 10% more there than Academy etc... My dad once won a 1 grand gift card to Cabela's, mom spent like $400 in clothing and the like

San Marcos is a little bit of a trip, but I believe it is doable :D

Cabela's has meeting rooms you can rent out. I helped hold a 4-H event there, perhaps under our good samaritan front we can get free room use> :D

Re: Zombietools.net

I emailed them a concept drawing of a trench knife a week or two ago (before I found this forum thread), with the specific intent for a small, lethal backup blade.

Shall I draw up some spear heads to bug them with?

Re: Texas!!!

Maybe we look at getting a chapter setup centered around Round Rock puts the Austin/Killeen/Temple/Waco area in the mix. A Chapter based out of Round Rock sounds bad ass to me! I did most of my growing up there (I'm a HS senior now, so not THAT much growing up  ), I'm currently located in Geor...

Pole arms would be awesome. To cut the corners on shipping and production costs, I think it would be reasonable to just sell the heavy-metal-business portion, with opaque instructions for mounting on the pole of your choice...

Re: Central Texas Range Day and Get Together (Open to all)

DEWDZ the Walther G22, has totally topped my list of .22's to buy. I have a Marlin bolt-action and was thinking of getting a Ruger, but man that Walther... .22 hollow point oughta drop a zombie ehh? I don't think they would be any use against the REAL enemy, Reavers, but Zeds ( ninja squirrels, and ...
