You do all that yerself Sckitzo? That's kind of an impressive effort if you did. Thanks.

Not to get greedy, but does anyone have any interest in trying to rate these games? (OK, I guess I am being greedy).

I'm going to cut this guy a little slack. Doer, you seem to like to originate threads, but even if your posts begin with a question, you kind of veer off towards some sort of overwrought diatribe. And not to put too fine a point on it, but must you insult people when you post? "Silly fort up idea"? ...

Different amounts of shit can hit the fan. That's the way I look at it. Bad thunderstorm, a little shit has sprayed into the fan but it's not anything I can't clean up. Attack in another state/city, a little more shit is up there, but still manageable. Cat 1 or 2 hurricane, amount of shit is variab...

Re: Frame Backpack Baby Carrier

I'm looking for a frame backpack baby carrier capable of carrying my older son and am looking for suggestions or brief reviews from those who have owned and used such items. He is two years old / 3 feet tall / 26 lbs now. Ideally I'd like him to be able to be carried in it till he is 35-40 lbs. Any...

Re: 96 minute marathon CPR session saves Minnesota man's lif

It's an overused Hollywood cliche, the hero performing CPR and verbally berating the patient: "Oh no. No, No, NO! You will NOT die! You hear me?"(usually followed by dramatic and wholy inappropriate pounding on victim's chest). But this appears to be a real life example where some very committed peo...

Re: Everybody Poops

Ok not the best title but sanitation is a very important preparation subject. I have said many times that in a PAW it will not be zombies that get most people but rather mundane illnesses like Cholera and typhus. Illnesses transmitted by improper sanitation facilities. In an disaster like an earthq...

Re: Reloading .223 Bullets in 5.56 Casings?

Slightly off topic, a friend of mine really wants one of those stupid 37mm havoc m203 style launchers for his gun and I told him besides paying for something he'll hardly ever use, rounds for that are probably cost prohibitive. He said, "well you could reload them." I told him I wasn't sure if that...

Re: Why Did You Join Zombie Squad?

Found ZS searching for disaster prep websites, not for zombie lore. The fact that I also have a fondness for zombie movies and a certain video game by Valve software was a nice happenstance, but not the principle source of attraction. I had been prepping for a couple of years, but mostly on the basi...

How do you know it's time to pull the trigger, max out all of your credit cards, drain the emergency funds, etc. ... So, how do you make the decision, and does the uncertain nature of any of it determine what, if any, purchases you make? Not so much interested in what you'd buy, although if you wan...

Re: My Tacticool Setup, what would you bring out of it

Glock and AK. Both will go bang when you need them to, are very simple to strip and maintain, and have calibers that pack a serious punch. I am of the firm belief that a folding-stocked AK and a compact Glock are the ultimate 2-gun combination, that, when combined with a good .22 rifle or .22 slide...

.... There's a very limited number of events that require immediate evacuation, and even fewer that might require me to start off walking, so I can always throw the bag in the car and stuff it once things calm down. My thought on this is that you look closely at possible BO events, and determine wh...

Re: AR 15 build questions.

When you say your husband's AR is built more for long range, exactly what are we talking about here? Because if it's a 24" or even a 20" barrel, then a carbine length (16" or 14.5" with a pinned flash hider, neither of which require any additional BATF paperwork) will seem much more maneuverable to ...

I'll keep that in mind if I ever decide that I need to tie a big knife to the end of my shotgun for no apparent reason. I just don't have the cash to spend on really much of anything out of budget right now, so I'm looking to make some shortcuts. Ok ok, I'll get serious. Zip ties. I did it to my AK...

I wasn't familiar with this particular design. Amazingly simple concept based on my search results. Although dear God, that thing looks incredibly dangerous anywhere near a tent, sleeping bag or other gear. At least with this design the flame seems more contained: http://www.instructables.com/id/Alu...
