Re: Looking for a business appropriate EDC/GHB bag.

I've had really great luck with my Tom Bihn bag, I've been using it since about the turn of the century, all the time, still 100% great. I have a brain bag https://www.tombihn.com/collections/backpacks/products/brain-bag?variant=16392317767 With a brain cell for my laptop that snaps into the pack. ...

Re: Looking for a business appropriate EDC/GHB bag.

The Bobby https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiTD6Hs6HBk I got a similar one, the Tiggernu, that was cheaper on Amazon and doesn't have all the same pockets as the Bobby but I like it. Talk about greyman it is great. Hard to get into. Water resistant and cut proof. It holds a lot. I have about 20 lbs o...

Re: Zombie Apocalypse would take 100 days if left unchecked

I'm not trying to be a jerk. I'm just saying that there is not enough of that equipment to handle something like that in a timely manner. There is maintenance on these things that may or may not be easy without appropriate training. In all my life I have never seen any of those devices anywhere I ha...

Re: Zombie Apocalypse would take 100 days if left unchecked

Yep. I guess i'll run down to my friendly neighborhood WalMart and pick up a mine sweeper down the mine sweeper isle. There is a plenty of selection there. You don't take into consideration that there will be some kind of coverup that always happens with some kind of disaster. Yeah, I'm opening that...

Zombie Apocalypse would take 100 days if left unchecked

Interesting subject to randomly find in the news today. Scientific models being designed to model zombie apocalypse. I wonder if they are taking into consideration all the fine members of ZombieSquad! http://www.livescience.com/57407-zombie-apocalypse-would-take-100-days.html A mathematical ...

I just got the Gamo today and it pretty nice. It is very powerful. I will have to try to zero the scope probably on Saturday. It is rather quiet. I will send any applicable videos or pictures.

I'm guessing you're taliking about the AP-16. yeah it looks different than a regular pistol but not by much. My Gamo should be arriving by tomorrow and maybe I'll go out Thursday to scope it in. try it by Saturday against rabbits and go out for pig hunting by spring.

Pretty good thing to study up on. What is going on in your house or neighborhood?

This is especially prevalent for our friends in New York, New Orleans and any other major city.

Cool. I just ordered the Gamo Whisper Fusion IGT. I am still waiting for the delivery and I can give you some good updates as soon as I can. The weather sucks to go out right now. I am interested in picking up the Ataman AP-16 pistol. It is currently the most powerful repeater and pistol. It is quit...

Re: Do-It Yourself Ration Packs By Mantis - the Sequel

That is a good list. My only recommendation is getting Spam in single serving packs. Once you open the spam can or any other of the cans you have to eat the whole thing. Maybe all that sodium all at once is not so good. Maybe. The cans add a good amount of weight and the single serving envelopes min...

Re: Night Vision Choices

I know it's pathetic but my first nightvision was actually from the collectors edition of Modern Warfare. I bought a IR flashlight to help illuminate things but on it's own it worked alright. I've since upgraded to a Gen2 but I still keep that first one handy just in case. I believe this is t...

Re: Tennis ball bola

Interesting. Wonder if something a bit heavier than a tennis ball would give it a little more oomph. I would check with local laws first. In many places it could fall under the guise of a monkey fist which could very well be (like in Colorado) illegal. Even using the tennis balls it may be consider...

Re: Watches for long-term survival off the grid

I would love to find a mechanical aviator's watch with an accurate bezel. I found a couple for cheap, even motion winding but the bezel is off and it does not provide you with accurate calculations. i just don't feel like paying $300 or higher for a watch. I would like to find a cheap timex or casio...

Sorry to revive this necro but I just bought a pair of 5.11 Speed 3.0. They are fabulously comfortable! My feet just melted into them and I had to see what people were saying about footwear. I read the whole thing and I am surprised that there is such a discussion on whether to use boots or shoes. S...

I order from Gearbest regularly and have had great experiences. It does take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks for the items to arrive from Chine but it's worth the wait for a lot of the products.

Re: Looking for a pocket spotlight

I went to Home Depot and they have in the holiday section, a Defiant 3 "C" cell 850 lumen flashlight with the flash blind mode for about $12.00. I can carry it around in my jeans pocket, I can vouch for its brightness and if it came to it, I could still use it to beat someones brains out if poked in...
