Re: The Coming Civil War - (Warning: No Politics)

There was a racial supremacy terror mass shooting attack the other day, of the type that is always being talked about in the news that certain politicians are accused of supporting. The optics on it were all wrong so it didn't get much media coverage. It wasn't really political although it was certa...

Re: Firearms Chat: Yeet Cannon 2 Electric Boogaloo

Some jerk beat me to all the 5.56/223 at Walmart and cleaned them out buying 57 boxes. The only thing that they had left that I shoot that was on clearance was 40&45, so I bought all that. I managed to acquire: 40S&W - 650 rounds of FMJ, 50 rounds of JHP 45ACP - 350 rounds of JHP, 250 rounds of FMJ ...

What to name, what to name?

Helping Hand?
Smoking Boot(s)?
Packing Something?
127-GBH?

Clearly there is a theme here, I wonder what it is?

And so, what I am telling you mainly is that the campus is one of the safest places they can be, and as the most important asset to the university business model they should try to remain within its protection. I'm not so sure. College campuses are one of the most likely places a woman will be rape...

Re: Hunting & Patrolling - (Graphic)

I shoot about 80% of the animals in the neck. For getting animals out of the woods or tight spots I use either a cart or a wheelbarrow with a very wide tire. Ideally I don't shoot them in tight spots but have had some interesting nights recovering them. Best bet is to shoot them in an open area and ...

You better hope that deer did not have friends. In seriousness though, Be aware of your equipment and don't assume the Russians staked or locktited any screws. Have irons as a backup. Be able to quickly remove any red dots. Train with those irons. Barska and Sight Mark are low end gear. Often the ch...

Yeah shades of 9/11, SA aviation student. Guess he was on a no fly list. Also a second attack at Pearl, not known if they are related.

One cannot complain all the time about the quality of policing and then wonder why the police have stopped showing up to calls. Sure they can. If a failure in logic has brought one to this situation there is no reason to think that logic will suddenly poke it's head out and make an appearance. I wi...

Having owned and/ or shot all the choices in the thread I am going to go with the Extar EP9. More capable and much better quality than either the Hi-Point 995TS 9mm, or a Mossberg 715T 22LR. More handy and Carbine like than the M&P 15 also uses Glock magazines instead of S&W proprietary mags. Excep...

I haven't been able to find anything after probably 30-45 minutes of searching, but does anyone know if there was a transit case for M1 rifles? All I could find were a couple display cases, and soft cases. It's basically just for shits and giggles so I could just copy and modify a generic or Enfiel...

Let's see.
1- A credit card
2- Hotel club membership that guarantees you a room (somewhere, anywhere)
3- Travel Insurance

My days of sleeping at the airport are behind me. If all else fails I will pull out the Ret-mil card and head over to the USO.

I will take the 870 loaded with #2 lead goose shot, a green light laser and an open choke. With the right arm useless my aim will be for shit anyway so whatever I can do to leverage the odds. However I want the box magazine fed edition with a dozen spare magazines. I will also need a prosthetic arm....

The R1 is a good rifle but not a battle rifle. It is doubtful it could stand up to the rigors of a battle rifle.

I love the new series of interconnecting James Bond movies. Daniel Craig is by far my favorite. I'm really looking forward to this. I have to agree. Craig is best, although Connery was best for his era. No one would have understood Craig in the 60s and people today can't relate to the over the top ...

The rise of the "sig brace" has led to a plethora of compact 9mm sub guns. H&K is just responding to the market and all the competitors who have an edge on them now. With good entry guns under $500 they are going to have trouble making any inroads.

Re: Firearms Chat: Yeet Cannon 2 Electric Boogaloo

Anybody have any recommendations for shooting gloves? I have an outdoor 2 day pistol class this weekend and the temperature looks to be in the mid 40's as a high, with one of the mornings starting at 28°. Bleah. My local stores don't carry much if any, and the gloves they do have just seem so bulky...
