Nah, I wannem slow and stupid, so I can target practice them from the roof while they come across the property line......... Muwahahaha!

Re: NC Meet and Greet
Western NC here. We are near Asheville. 1.5 hrs from Hickory, 2 hrs from Charlotte. Great mountainous area to hide out in, or even build a compound for when the zombies come. Is there a way we can get a better idea how many interested members there are and in what areas? I know we're pretty spread o...

Cheers Widdle! Thank you for the GREAT suggestions. I loved the Survival Kit at Boots! I haven't seen the reflecting mirror in any other packs. That is a definite need! We spent many #s at Boots when we were in Peasmarsh for 3 weeks at Christmastime in 2000. We would love to visit Elswick England so...

OIC There are probably 2000 - 5000 reasons I won't be pursuing that one! Ebay can be REALLY misleading, we have been burned more that I would like to admit with ebay electronics. We probably won't need it anyway, we shouldn't be out in the dark when the zombies come. Eh, night vision is much to expe...

Don't stop guys, I am wriing down all of these GREAT ideas! What about Night Vision systems.... ? If he doesnt have a good all around knife: They also have non-serrated versions of both; they are in many's opinion, the best value knife for the money, and made in the good o'l USA. They can easily be ...

Perfect! That's what I am looking for! I am waiting to see if Costco gets the year supply of food on sale again. I guess we try to be a bit more practical, than just giving "attic stuffing". Well, if you're just looking for a something cool to take camping or whatever, I see you mentioned a water filter. Get him an MSR Mini-works hand pump. It's a great little filter, packs well and it's as expensive as you could go on some other brand name filters. Thanks! Not really for camping, alth...

Re: What have you bought in the last 48 hours?
Bought 5 boxes of ammo actually found some at Wally World. I was a bit surprised when the clerk asked me if I intended to use it with guns. Then he asked me if it was for a handgun or ruger? I finally asked him "Who" was asking the questions (the white house would have gotten a special 2 letters "FU...

Re: The Elswick's posting in from Western North Carolina
Hopefully that mess will be cleaned up soon! Our routes to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge are getting really limited, esp. after there was a second rock slide on 64 (I think). The route through Hot Springs is the best I have heard from a coworker. At least a lot shorter than going all the way up 26 and dow...

Good Evening to our fellow prepper's, zombie's etal,
We found ZS investigating the purchase of a years supply of food. We spent several hours searching the past and present forums and learned a lot! Thanks and we hope to become an asset to the group.
