Re: My INCH Bag Plus NEW!!!!! Wife's Bug Out Bag!

People have a difficult time understanding this Concept. You are answering a lot of questions, from folks that have good survival training but only really enough to knock out a week or two, or signal flare and rescue out. The INCH system and longer term sustainability is something that the survival...

Hey ODA. I thought these were all bullshit. Can you talk about them for a second? I always thought a hand saw or an axe would be better. But maybe they have advantages I am unaware of...? Have you used one yet? http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e250/moabak/chainsawrope_zps78b45ac3.jpg The one I hav...

Re: My INCH Bag Plus NEW!!!!! Wife's Bug Out Bag!

ODA 226, So how many rifle mags are you carrying? I'm counting 24 on that Alice belt/ LBV setup... Plus on in the rifle. You think you're going to get all that downrange before you eat one ? Or am I missing something? Howdy , I'm thinking since this is his INCH bag, all the ammo is not meant to be ...

Re: My INCH Bag Plus NEW!!!!! Wife's Bug Out Bag!

I love the post but I have to ask about the weight thing. You say you don’t like carrying additional weight but I can see a few places you can cut weight and do it realistically; none on this gram-nazi camper stuff. Here is what I would like to offer as a suggestion,,,, even though I’m probably wro...

On July 4th 2013, I became an independant, FREE MAN again! 1. I paid off the remaining $8,800.00 I had in credit card debt. 2. Paid off a 30% loan that I had (stupidly) run up. Paid off the remaining $1450.00 of that $4,500.00 note. 3. Paid off my Federal Income Taxes. $3,942.23 GONE! (This o...

Re: Bug In Solar Lights

I haven't seen a frosting spray where I'm from. Will it work if I spray it on plastic or is it corrosive and just works on glass? You can find frosting spray at any Michael's, Lowe's or Home Depot. They cost the same as any can of spray paint. I don't see any reason that it wouldn't work on plastic...

Re: Random guy walks into your apartment/house

Jamie I don't have the news report right in front of me but in I believe it was Texas where a young woman got herself shot by wandering into the wrong house at night and while drunk. If I remember the story correctly the girl ignored repeated commands from the home owner to stop and was shot after ...

OK this is a bit bigger than something you can pack on your back, but it is something I would take with me if I was bugging out in a vehicle. It is a canvas tent from Reliable Tent & Tipi. https://www.reliabletent.com/index.cfm?page=detail&Product_ID=145&CATID=9 I have been wanting this tent for ab...

Re: Woolwich London Terrs try their crap on Cops: Graphic!

Surprised the 2nd guy didn't let off more shots, you can see he has the gun raised. I heard/read somewhere that his gun had a "kaboom" malfunction, and he lost part of his thumb......It could've just as likely been that one of the LEO's shot him in the hand & gun, damaging the gun so that it wouldn...

Re: Booby Traps On Utah Trails

...Deer love to eat marijuana... That made me laugh - I had no idea. It reminds me of stories of animals eating fermented fruit and getting drunk. It certainly adds a dimension to that 'deer caught in the headlights' look. The deer probably don't feel much effect, since it isn't being heated. A psy...

Re: Beer

The misnomer that all German beers are better than all American beers is bunk. Having sampled both in country, it all comes down to the brewmaster and your personal palate. All encompassing generalizations about beer are silly as everyone's taste's are different. Ok Murphman. I'll give you that reg...
