Re: Leather Goods/Holsters for sale.

I will still accept orders. As I feel better the more work I can complete. I have been using the time I'm not zonked out designing holsters. I also get to do final touches and make adjustments. Doing nothing is almost as bad as not having any work. I hear that. I spent the past few days in the hosp...

I'm sorry about your health situation, and I wish you a speedy recovery! This was the first I have heard of this. As much as I would like some of your work, you need to concentrate on getting better. If in the future when you feel better and if you have the time, please keep me in mind.

Re: Emergency Radio failed me during storm. Need suggestions

I bought that same Midland model ER102 for my parents in the spring this year. I'll funtion test it when I think about it and I know they have used it twice so far with no problems at all. Like anything else though, some times we get lucky and sometimes we get lemons. Good luck with your next purch...

Re: What Did You Do Today To Prepare?

Put together a couple basic disaster kits for some friends Christmas presents. I'm hoping they see the value in them and get them into prepping. I'm tired of them saying what I'm sure everyone else here has heard, " I'm just coming to your house."

Emergency Radio failed me during storm. Need suggestions.

The Eton models are pretty good. Have so many power options, and are very flexible. If ERs are so important, have you considered having a 2nd? I just had a bad experience with my last one. It had mostly positive reviews, but it failed me in the same way as some of the bad reviews. Customer service ...

Re: Emergency Radio failed me during storm. Need suggestions

For the record, I have thus far refused to participate in the Black Friday madness. Too many horror stories and the general ickyness the "tradition" invokes in my mind. Anyway, flipping through the Menards Black Friday sales ads, I saw they had a Weather X emergency weather radio. The price was $11....

Yes, I tried to open it up, hoping the problem was a simple as a solder. No loose connections. I really dont have the time or patience to break out the volt meter and check everything.

TacAir, I like the idea for an edc in addition to one in the Bol.

Emergency Radio failed me during storm. Need suggestions.

One day this summer, our area had a severe storm warning. We lost power for a short time so I pulled out my emergency radio. Its a Midland model er102. I had fresh batteries in the thing and there was no sound. All other functions were working. I have used it a few times, mostly just function checks...

Re: Prometheus

Remember too that the crashed Engineer ship wasn't carrying canisters of black goo, but Alien eggs containing facehuggers. We know from the murals in the canister room in Prometheus that the Engineers know that this can make Alien critters (an Alien and Alien Queen are pictured), and near the end o...

Re: Prometheus

The geologist wasn't lost. There was a storm and they couldn't leave but they were scared and wandering. Really, imagine being trapped in a alien structure. After the ancient security camera footage (showing the chase, and where the decap'd engineer's head would be), the geologist basically says "f...

Re: Dummy guns for bayonet training?

Since I bought a new upper for my AR, which has a bayonet lug, and is mid-length so a bayonet will fit properly, I have been considering buying an OKC-3S Marine Corps bayonet for it. I thought it would be fun to purchase a dummy gun, so I could practice bayonet drills in my living room, or outside,...
