Re: lighters - a basic discussion

I still have the Zippo that I bought on my first day off college in 1999. Still works like a champ and has no trouble lighting while standing on the edge of lake Michigan in winter. Buy a real Zippo though, not the knockoff bullshit.

Re: Toyota Fj Cruiser - Jeep Rubicon or HUmmer X

I would go with the Fj or the rubicon. I've been mulling the idea of an Fj myself. There will be some good deals on them soon. I can't (won't) do a rag top in the mid-west.

Re: Mexican Special Forces weapons

As stated, anybody else want to go down there and get paid what they do and suffer the casualty rates they do? They see more action then many other forces throughout the world, and they do with with a lot higher risk and lower pay. They have balls that would set off an airport metal detector. +1 :D

Remigton 870 "home defense".

Also I got a bunch of freebies. I stopped by my Mom's house and went through some of the stuff in my old closet. I found a Kershaw vice grip multi-tool, a hand crank flashlight, a mini maglight, and a pair of tasco binoculars.

So I work in a Casino, and yes there are zombies! They sit there in front of those machines and shit and piss themselves. People die, have heart attacks, and seizures. It happens at least every month or so. They walk around in a daze with no regard for other people. If you wanna see the closest thin...

I have to say that I also enjoyed the book. It wasn't what I had expected, but I could appreciate it for what it was. As stated above, it is a good, "I'm not nuts" book.

Re: What's in YOUR wallet?

So about 7 years ago I was leaving a laundromat and I found a new croft + barrow brown leather wallet on the ground. All it contained was $11 and a business car for a high school wrestling coach. I told the kid in the laundry that I found it and gave him my number if anyone came to look for it. I th...

They're meant to be used to freshen your breath. The little balls are filled with a mint flavored liquid. I think that there is sugar in some form in there. Like everyone said before, get a toothbrush and some tooth paste.

Re: Kel-tec Su-16

Thanks to everyone for their opinions! My situation is that I live in a populated area, I don't hunt and I get to the range about once a month if I'm lucky. I have handled (not shot) this gun before and I liked it. As for protection, I carry my XD-sub, and I have a 870 for the house. I don't think t...

Kel-tec Su-16

I know that most people here love their AR's and AK's, but I'm leaning toward the Kel-tec su-16. I can get one of these plus some gear for the price of an AR. I've read some reviews and they all seem to dig it. Plus there's a few variants to choose from. Any thoughts. http://i87.photobucket.com/albu...

Since there has been mention of kel-tecs, what about this for a bug-out-carbine. I haven't the money for a AR, and I like the the options that the su line offers. It accepts AR mags and seems like it would do well in cqc too. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k130/mexicanredhair/kel-tec_su16d-1.jpg...
