My wife likes hers so much that she uses it all the time on the bed to use as her normal sleeping blanket. But n...

Found a rare track of Amon Amarth covering System of a Down's Aerials. Pretty much on repeat while I was running errands today. :D

Sasquatch is only seen in secluded areas. What if it is the result of generations of human inbreeding?

Re: strangest thing you have ever seen

Follow up question: did they interview you for the documentary television series Monster Quest? I was watching it and they had an account of something very similar that happened, in that same area. Nope not me. But he used to be sighted in that area yearly so Im sure someone else would have had a s...

Re: strangest thing you have ever seen

Its not that great. I was up on top of this smallish mountain and we were camped at the bottom. My father and I were on the mountain and we smelled something horrible. We also heard someone up there walking around. My father was grabbing this branch and swinging on it. My father is 6' 2" and gave a ...

Re: strangest thing you have ever seen

OK, I can't think of where to ask this and don't want to start a new thread, so I'm posting this in a few existing threads: Who was it that said they saw a bigfoot while training in the Marine Mountain Warfare Training Area near Bridgeport, California? And where is that post? I can't find it. Im so...

Re: DIY Silnylon Review

Well Doc, dont put yourself out any. Im planning on doing a small 1' x 1' section and seeing exactly what will make it catch fire. Starting with sparks, then larger embers then a white burning briquette. Im more interested in seeing what makes it catch fire than seeing "how it burns". Im sure it bur...

Re: DIY Silnylon Review

Did I miss something it or has anyone tested this for heat/embers. I am very interested in this and have thought about making a shelter and then putting in a stove jack. Norris: I don't think anyone has tried the burn test on this fabric yet... unless it is in another thread or something that I've ...

Re: Folding shovels?

I have the Gerber tri fold and I love it. I really should buy another. I am always moving mine from my truck back to my BOB and then out again to use in the garden. I also put it in a MOLLE II woodland E-tool carrier that I Paid 5.99 shipped for on ebay. I think the ARPAT one's are super cheap right...

Re: Mini 14, Haters Gonna' Hate.

As long as we are way off topic,(what topic are we on again?) why doesn't Springfield Armory make actual "mini" M1A's? An M1A in 5.56 that accepted AR mags would be the business. I mean the mini is pretty popular, if they made a "real" ones they would dominate Rugers market. Just a thought. Well, e...
