Re: Firearms CHAT: [insert chat title here]

Installed an Apex action enhancement kit in the CZ 75.....its like a mustache with titties. :awesome: The SA pull is about the same, but according to my old trigger pull gauge the DA pull went from around 9.5 lbs to 6.5 lbs. I kinda miss the factory round hammer spur, but the new smoothness of the a...

NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 200 PM EDT Thu Aug 27 2020 1. Although environmental conditions are not expected to be conducive for de...

Re: Firearms CHAT: [insert chat title here]

That's not the interesting part, though. What I found out is my AR doesn't use an M16 type BCG like I had initially thought. Nope, mine has the lighter AR15 type BCG. So now I'm wondering what's the difference between the two in regards to reliability and whatnot. Should I upgrade to an M16 type BC...

Re: The Batman

UPDATE, that track has a hidden song on it, Something in the Way is only 3:45, but the track is 20:35, hidden song is an earsplitter starting at 13:52, IDK its name. But Something in the way I had at full volume, ears bleeding now due to level difference between songs. :gonk: I believe the hidden t...

Re: Firearms CHAT: [insert chat title here]

I watched a video the other day, I think it was Cam Edwards, where he mentioned that a lot of smelted lead comes from Red China, and the copper from South America....and that the production and shipping of both were noticeably reduced due to the coof and some miner's strikes, which could potentially...

Re: Firearms CHAT: [insert chat title here]

So I found out something interesting today about my AR. I installed an ambi safety selector on it the other day and today I decided to do a functions check on it. Everything works just fine, only issue is the lever on the right side is a tad too long for my liking and may rub my trigger finger a bi...

Re: 2020 Hurricane Season

Rick: Are you & yours in a position to leave before the storm? Nope. Power company employees are expected to report for work as soon as it's reasonably safe to do so. Good luck down there. I have options. Most of the buildings at our main central office, including the auditorium and classroom facil...

Re: What have you bought in the last 48 hours?(firearms related)

Got an Apex "Action Enhancement Kit" for the CZ 75 SP-01 in the mail today. Apex has a nice 30 minute installation video....looks like all I'll need are a couple of punches, a dental pick, and the twist tie from a loaf of bread.

Re: Firearms CHAT: [insert chat title here]

One reason I selected the g2 for my long guns was that it also made a good handheld light. In a zombie apocalypse, if a gun were out of commission, scavenging the wml from it offered other options than a spare wml. Different tail caps offer different options, but generally the same feel for soft pr...

Re: Firearms CHAT: [insert chat title here]

Trying out a Streamlight HL-X light and Cloud Defensive pressure switch mount combo. Liking it so far, and its a bit cheaper than a similar Surefire set-up.....which is nice, cause I'll probably end-up swapping out the simple Surefire G2/Cree light set-ups I have on several other guns for this one. ...
