Re: First attempt at raised bed gardening/greenhouse convers

Thanks. I wish I'd of used hog wire for the walls of the little raised bed and done the gates on it the same way.

Re: First attempt at raised bed gardening/greenhouse convers

Getting everything geared up for growing season. Made a few additions. Added a cattle panel fence to keep the attack hounds out of the plants, and the black thingy is the beginnings of a potato tower. http://img.tapatalk.com/62c3822b-a6c8-dec1.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/62c3822b-a6de-b7e8.jpg http:...

Re: Doomsday Preppers (2nd) 02/07/2012 Nat Geo

I am familiar with the concept MRE's. I'm not used to them being as compact as the ones he had, I was looking for the specific variety shown. Of course its been a few years since I bought any. But I recall them being in bigger bags.

I stumbled across these today. Not sure on the quality, but they look good in the pictures. I plan on ordering one to check it out. Rumm smugglers revenge kit/amazon.com It's a crap ton of knock off platty bags for $34.00 shipped. Only one, one liter platty bag is $13.00. And this kit, designed for ...

Re: All purpose "Help me build my AR" thread.

I was hoping to save the money by just getting the barrel. And later with the edition of a few other parts build another 223. I think if you like saving money switching to 300bo might not be the best idea..... I believe you are correct though, all you need is a new barrel assembly to make it...

Re: TSA new "naked" airport scanners, anybody been through t

I fly too much for work. I've been through one of the scanners twice. Yesterday because I was half asleep and walked into the wrong line. :? What I dislike most about them is that they make me part from my wallet. I hate flying. The bar is too damn expensive, the security is a violation of, well ev...

Re: All purpose "Help me build my AR" thread.

I'm thinking of converting my AR into a 300 BLK. From lurking on 300blktalk.com it seems all I need to do at this point is change the barrel. Any one have any advice or suggestions before I go through with this?

I keep forgetting to post this.

I just wanted to say that I put in an order and the guy took good care of me. Fast shipping, good product and good comms throughout the transaction. I'm working on sending him another order. So buy from him without worry and often.

Not a cat fan... lol.

But I like your kit. I like how you have a human use for most every thing. Any special first aid considerations? Also like how you use another crate instead of a container with one use for storage. Very well thought out.

Re: All purpose "Help me build my AR" thread.

Question for those that know: I have a DPMS Lower AR, it appears to have an UTG buffer tube and had a collapsible stock. I recently purchased a Magpul 5-position stock. I made sure to get the one that is for a commercial buffer tube (just found out what the difference was between comm and milspec)....

I couldn't have done any better man. No idea on the legality of the shot. Maybe in a castle doc state, maybe not. I for one have a young dog I almost have trained enough to leave out of her kennel. I'm going to step up that plan immediately. I had a conversation with my father a few months ago, He i...

Re: Putting together a go baggie.

The way I understand it is that if it's illegal where you are, then it's a no go on the board. So, when someone posts a 'battle belt' it should be legal. And it very well maybe. Just because you live someplace where you can't walk around with a battle belt, doesn't mean you can't wear it at a range ...

Thanks for the help guys, I had over looked the fact that I had to turn down the barrel before threading, and as I don't have a lathe, I'm off to the gunsmith anyway I guess.

Glad your membership finally went through, shame about the ZS logo though. How about a few pics of some of the zombie related stuff you have? Other wise, any idea on a stock price area for a 4x4 single color, or would you rather keep discussion on price to PM's? What I'd be interested in right off w...
