Re: Greetings from Ontario

Hi Horatio,

No, I doubt I’m your buddy Tom.

Sorry, while I would love to hang out with some folks and make some new acquaintances, I doubt I can make it down to Niagara any time in the near future. But please keep me in mind for any future get togethers. Thanks for the invite.

Thomas

Re: DIY Gear, Who Makes Their Own?

There will likely be a bit of duplication with some that have already been posted here, but I’m going to post everything I have in my MYOG bookmarks folder. Re: so, i wanna build a SERE belt...

I’ve tried the money belt approach and there is a negligible amount of space inside. This was an idea I had for a belt with a survival kit inside. Didn’t work perfectly, but it might give you some ideas. What I might do with this is make a pouch from tubular webbing with those contents inside, belt ...

Re: DIY Gear, Who Makes Their Own?

I make/modify loads of stuff. I’m one of those people who is rarely if ever satisfied with stock anything. Just about everything I buy has been altered or tweaked to some degree or other. And that doesn’t even get into what doesn’t exist, so I dream it up and make it. I’ve been on a total stove buil...

Greetings from Ontario

Hello everyone I’ve been aware of this place for a while, been reading for a while, know some of the posters here (hey Chef!), recognize a few names from other forums, and thought I should say hello and make a contribution to this forum. My name is Thomas, I live in Ontario, although I’m from Amste...
