Crocs here also.
Wear 'em at work, around the house in the winter, and just clip them to the pack if going extended milage.
If I'm worried about weight, though, a set of heavy wool socks does the same thing and has more purpose than fugly oversized foam kicks.

In my AO, having dealt with this stupidity twice now, I can firmly say that you would not have an issue with finding 40. Or 45. But anything that has a .356/.355 bullet in it will be a fart in the wind.
Is what it is. I need me a G30S.

Will echo WW's recommendation of the Princeton Tec EOS - I use it all the time for fishing after dark in the snow/rain/whatever and it's held up great.
Still want to get a single AA light eventually, just hard to justify with the PT works as well as it does.

Oh sweet saucy FSM. I held a Sig 556 today, I'm in love. It just feels... perfect. And it can fire with folded stock, something AR lovers have been trying to do for years, while taking AR mags? *swoons* Eh, for what it's worth Dogan, I'd fire it first. Heavy sumbitch with a weird trigger and odd re...

Ok to make it simple...any reason besides waiting...not to go with PSA ? Shitty QA/customer service. QA? Quality Assurance. If you're lucky (which seems to be required now) you'll have all your bits and pieces in the order when it arrives. Otherwise you'll be missing some random and very important ...

I'd keep my eye's peeled for the S&W m10's to show back up. They were a fantastic value - really wish I had jumped on one when I saw them.

Canik's shipping over a whole series of CZ clones - some of them look damn fine too. Initial reports have been very, very positive - closer to CZ's version than the Tangfolio but it's not compatible with the slide/frame swaps. Their "Stingray C" looks like a dead ringer for the P01, and they've got...

Re: .380ACP idea's
I wish we could get GLOCK .380s in this country. Don't see the point in it, myself. It's the same physical dimensions as a 9mm - there is no difference in any of the .380 guns that Glock makes when compared to it's other small frame varieties. If you want a compact sized 380, Walther makes one. I'v...

RTF^2 - Well now you've done it. :vmad: I've got a piece of kydex somewhere in CONUS on it's way to me. How are you pressing the rivets in? I grabbed a few different densities of foam sheeting from work to mess around with. Now to go look at pics of presses. This is gonna be ugly. REALLY ugly. Just ...

Re: DIY Kydex thread?
RTF^2 - Man that new press/foam can create crazy definition. Have you run into issues with too much grab because of it? Eg, you're creating a lot of trapped features from the detail you've got to correct for. I'd think that you'd start to have to tape chopsticks to the guns to create channels for th...

I wish S&W would actually ditch the laser on the Bodyguard. Would be nice if they'd offer it without it (and price it accordingly).
The Sig P238 is a fantastic shooting 380ACP. A scootch fat for it's competition, but a fine gun. Dare I say the Colt polymer version is growing on me....

Re: Considering a Double Action .357
Smith is very nice, but the Ruger can be cleaned up just as well. I prefer the 5" full lug on the Gp100 - perfect balance over the 6", and just a little more weight over the 4". It's an absolute pop-gun with 38's, full house 357M's are comfortable, and the 180BB loads are snappy but controllable. As...

Wait we can attach the sling to the front now?
I had a single point on mine because I wasn't completely sure, but if the ruling stands that'll be huge. A two point to offset jamming a pistol tube into my anatomy makes me happy.

What's with the GAP floorplates? http://www.tacticalsight.com/images/gapfloorplateextension.gif Adds just that smidge of control (for me, on the one I tried anyway) without adding anything to the length of the magazine. 26 in hand. Jelly. Now get you some GAP floor plates and bee a rockstar. Damn near every review I've ever seen about the Cabelas Guide series has been outstanding.
