Re: AK underfolder conversion?

I'm looking for just the under folder stock and its parts. If you want to get rid of them post back. But as far as I can tell. If all the folder parts come out leaving the back of the receiver open then a normal stock should just slide in no problem. It not like they ever changed anything once it wo...

Re: AR-15 price question

I could assemble one from parts I know.

But its worth it to me to know that this one already works fine and I've shot it to boot.
And I'm still in the 4 to 5 hundred dollar range even with the flat top and sight I plan on using.

How do I identify if its a Colt upper? I'm starting to think it is.

Re: semi-auto .308

A quick question for those AR .308 style buffs.

Do they make an upper to convert a AR in .308 back to ,223/5.56 or 7.62x39?
I've never heard of such a thing and didn't know if one was planned yet.

Why have two guns when you could just have an extra upper and a few mags?

Re: Arming a Group

As much as I dislike the SKS/AK family of weapons I can't find anything inherently wrong with a group standardizing to them. I personally don't like like them. But I have an AK variant anyways. With 10, 30's, a 75rd drum, and a bayonet. Plus other important "spare" parts. If it wasn't for the fact t...

Re: Weapons for dummies?

Unlike Holly wood.
Make sure your characters run out of ammo once in a while.

Not just in the fire arm but totally.

No one can carry all the ammo they both want or need. But some will try.

Re: AR-15 price question

He actually said the cheapest I could find. Any make.

I'm going to ask him tomorrow if he'll take 5.45 instead. Its cheaper.

And I found a cheap flat top with flip up sight for 119.00 to make it just what I wanted anyways.

AR-15 price question

I just traded for a Oly AR. Marked for both .223 and 5.56, 16.5 inch barrel with fixed stock, 4X scope, A2 upper, and full auto bolt carrier. It has a great finish. The only thing visibly wrong is the dust cover is missing. Don't know the year of manufacture. It fires and functions just fine. Whats ...

Re: Bugging Out to Wal-Mart, Costco, Sams Club: No!

A serious question here. For those with some remote piece of land or a 'hidden' cabin out in the woods. Whats keeping some local from getting there first? Its not like no one knows the place isn't there at all. If you think its a great place to hole up they will get the same idea and as soon as they...
