I wasn't very impressed. As I posted on Facebook:

Re: We are having a Winter MBO Contest!

We used to do themed contests, but it was found to limit entries. Each contest was themed, get home, bushcraft, over night, etc. while it was neat to have to meet the constraints, I'd rather have 50 qualified entries instead of 15. Which reminds me, time to start thinking of what prizes I will kick ...

Re: We are having a Winter MBO Contest!

I'm a huge supporter of having each entry be a thread of its own. It makes things so much easier to sort thru, read, and comment on.
Does anybody have any thoughts on dates?

Re: We are having a Winter MBO Contest!

My Libertarian nature prefers to have a minimal amount of rules...I'd just stick with rule #1, however, with this being a bug out contest, I propose rule #2: you have to travel from your domicile, to a different place. How you get there, or where you go doesn't matter. Just go somewhere.

Any other players? Faction? FWIW, I'm on the green team. It's a great way to get some area fam in. The basic concept is that it's a geolocation overlay over the real world, with 'portals' which are local artworks, historical markers, and the like. Two teams of players, 'enlightened' and 'resistance...

Re: Goal Zero Nomad 7 vs Instapark M10 solar chargers.

Don't forget the goal zero switch 8. I have both the AA battery pack, and the switch 8. http://www.goalzero.com/p/148/Goal-Zero-Switch-8-Recharger I use the switch 8 to recharge my iPhone, simply because the Guide 10 will not do it. I do like the idea of having a third panel added for power. I find ...

I was wondering about their decontamination procedures when they pulled all the food off the plague ship.
They're going to have to find a way to inoculate the crew very quickly, or the cast is going to drop dramatically.

I'm confused...if there was truly a danger why did you go out to the street and get his wife's attention? This couldn't have been handled from the yard? You go out of your way to dehumanize him as well. You call him a 'meth zombie' and bring up dead kittens to accentuate your point. I'm not saying y...

Looks like you didn't think about the long term issues when you decided to get all pissy with this kitten killer. One thing pops out at me, if you can't rely on law enforcement to help you, either your town is corrupt, or you are the issue. Calling law enforcement on what should have been a simple c...

MRE Sausage Cream Gravy

Gets a big 'no go'

I wanted to like it, but I cannot bring myself to support it. I added pepper, it didn't help, I added MRE hash browns with bacon, didn't help. I was going to add a maple sausage patty, but I love those and didn't want to ruin it.

What are your thoughts on it?
