I don't see ESEE making a production folder anytime soon. Check out there forum at ESEEKNIVES.com to see the newest items coming down the pipeline. ESEE-4 in stainless and the Laser Strike seem to be the hot projects they are working on.

I would get an inner tube and cut a rubber band for each of your yo-yos. You tie the band between the tree limb and a the yo-yo. It will prevent damage and loss if you get a large fish. They act as a shock absorber.

Re: ESEE 3 or 4......?
I had a thread very similar to this a couple weeks ago. I went with the Izula becuase I wanted a smaller knife. When I get around to getting my next ESEE blade, it will be the 4. The thicker blade appeals to me considering I have the Izula already. I love my little neck knife. It sucks that I can't ...

I have a giant beer bottle that has over $125 in it currently. Most of my purchases are made with cash so it adds up in a hurry. Im also anal about picking up change that I find on the ground. Last summer a resident in my building dumped a bunch of pennies in the parking lot, and yeah I picked up $0...

I kinda like the rough look of your sheath. The average person wouldn't know there is a $150 knife in there.

I am ready to pull the trigger on a new knife but I can't make up my mind between these two. My end use for either knife will be food prep, cleaning game, chopping cut bait and general utility work. It won't be used to chop firewood or stab bad guys. Obviously there is a difference in size and handl...

In our group I would be the group fisherman. I spend an average of 60 days a year fishing on the Red River which is 3 miles from where I live. I also possess several human powered boats for fishing and hunting. I also have a huge supply of river fishing tackle to keep me in business for a long time....

Cooked supper using only my preps to get used to my new stove. Knorr chicken flavored noodles + can of Sam's club chicken + pepper flakes + Franks hot sauce = a good supper for two or three (or the fat guy, me, that didn't eat all day) I used my new Coleman Micro stove and MSR stowaway pot. I cooked...
