Break weight is the same if you keep your current springs and connector. Much smoother than stock and you can shorten your pre-travel.

My top two choices would be a 16" LMT MWSE or Grey Ghost Precision Heavy. Both bridge the gap between fighting and precision.

Re: AR-15 vs AR-10?

For me, right now... The 7.62N AR that I want is only a couple hundo less than a SCAR-H. Which complicates, things considerably.

Re: AR-15 vs AR-10?

I have a ridiculously heavy Armalite AR-10t. It is a bit ponderous but a joy to accurately shoot at longer ranges. I could see it being incredibly useful in certain situations. I also have a AR-15 with an 11.5 inch barrel that is extremely light and manageable (Almost concealable if you know what I...

Re: AR-15 vs AR-10?

7.62N ARs have never really been standardized so they aren't anywhere close to being as, 'plug and play' as a 5.56 AR. Quality and reliability is all across the board, and at this point there are only a few makes I would consider purchasing (and they ain't cheap).

He's not advocating going outside, just saying that many will go outside regardless. Just like clearing out your own house, the best best is usually staying put... but if it's warranted having the increased capability is not a negative.

Re: Firearms Chat 3: #pewpewlife

Thanks for the article, Dave. Sounds like OC might be getting some business from me in the near future. $55 for that trigger the way I'd want it... really competitive pricing. Like you said in the article, others are SO much more money. Knee-jerk is that the price will either go up or the quality d...

I'm doing a review on a lower cost Glock trigger option right now. I apologize that I can't drop the name right now but I'd wait. No worries, Dave. I'm probably going to hold off on buying a new trigger for either of my Glocks for the moment. OC Custom Triggers http://www.recoilweb.com/review-glock...

Re: Firearms Chat 3: #pewpewlife

I have one or two around. No idea where they are, because I never ever use them. StripLULA gets the most use (because I keep ammo on stripper clips). Followed by a standard LULA. With the Cammenga, by the time you've lined everything up and ready to charge you could've had the mag loaded by then. Pl...

Not my first choice but the holsters we ordered shipped the day we left Reloads were from standard speed loaders and Bianchi speed strips, from domina...

I also got to help him develop some of the plate carriers and vests to hold the panels and plates. Let me tell you, that is more work to get right than getting the armor to fit it. Absolutely. I cannot agree more. There are several companies that do it right and n+1 companies that do it completely ...

Any ideas why the action won't stay closed on a shotgun? Its an old Hi standard model 200 12ga pump. You mean it's blowing open whne fired, or just won't close, period? Chimp, Glock makes and sells .380 Glocks on basically a 19 frame outside the US. G25, IIRC. Main market is places that ban militar...

Re: Firearms Chat 3: #pewpewlife

People bitched and complained about the G42 too, yet they've sold a shitload. Same will go for the G43. Fact is that most in the super compact range are ballsack companies, combine that with the number of people that prefer Glock (or at least respect them) and you have a winner.

Rifle, by fair margin. Regarding shotguns, initial training has a shorter learning curve than a pistol but becoming proficient with a pump shotgun is very hard indeed.
