Re: Normal

Nice story! Is is a short stand-alone, or the start of something more?

Either way, thanks, I enjoyed it.

Re: tapatalk or your own mobile reader

I use a Samsung Galaxy Note3 (a quite large phone) on its side and Firefox to read ZS.

It comes out almost exactly the same size as when I read on my 21" monitor, about 12 point font.

I use my phone to read ZS all the time, never felt the need for any software intermediate.

It Lives!!!

Fan-freaking-tastic addition, it's amazing the detail that you are putting into this story. You are really bringing the story to life with your own interpretation of L4D, and honestly, at this point, it's the game that's struggling to live up to your story, not the other way around.

He owns the Jeep, that's why he knows it's Mobile1.

Great addition, the story's starting to get very large, hope you can keep it together and continue to give us moar!

Re: Blueberry Hill - Starting Now...

Not sure on the price difference, but you can also get a rototiller attachment for that Kubota (that you don't have yet) that will work very well. I've used both the walk-behind and the tractor driven ones, and if you are doing a large-ish area, there is no comparison.

Re: Compact Survival Cord

Personally I think it is overkill for a BOB or EDC, but for those people who are already carrying 50ft of paracord around, I think this would be a hit. A spool large enough for the entire length you want to use would probably be preferred though. *Edit* by "this" I mean the amsteel blue, the small s...

There was something similar to this that I remember but cannot find as I lost my book marks. It had an absurd amount of functionality based on it's design. Can't remember everything. Maybe it will come to me, but does anyone have an idea? You may be thinking of the atax, http://www.survival.com/ata...

Re: High Ground: House of Adair - the story continues

I think a mention would be fine, but when an author becomes a character (and it's not an autobiography) its a real turn off for me when I am reading.

Great story though, I've been following it, I just don't post much.

One thing to keep in mind is that water shutoff valves are usually located under the sink, and if you obstruct these you may regret it at some point.

Re: Multi-tools - Do you have one? - what's the best?

One of the most recommended one around here will be the Leatherman Wave, I have one, and its great. Lately I have been EDC'ing a Victorinox tool, its good and beefy, but my biggest dislike with it is it is not one-handed opening. Gerber and SOG also make decent offerings, but many of the no-name bra...

Re: Bicycle with a gas or electric motor

I love this topic and I look at powered bikes quite often, but haven't bought one yet as they tend to be very pricey.

As an aside, I find it weird that some places limit a powered bike to 20mph, as I go faster than that on my pedal powered bikes quite often.

A "living" moat of zeds in your zed corridor would deter the actual living, but may be too gruesome for our heroes, not to mention the sanitation issues it could cause.
