Re: Shooters ND while drawing from holster

Jackass took a Tactical Response class and thought he was Yeagers second coming. I've seen a few seconds of his other videos a while back and as soon as I saw his face on this one I wasn't surprised at all, the guys a moron an I'm surprised he's gone this long without shooting himself.

Re: Ammunition packing?

All my 22 I keep in paintcans, and if its not in a steel spam can it gets dumped out in 50 cal. ammo cans and labled which caliber it is. Defensive ammo goes in mags for the rifles or on stripper clips in bandoleers for grab and go. Defensive pistol ammo usually stays in the box untill needed.

So Mr. Pliskin what kind of stock did you end up going with and did you have any troubles mounting it up. I have a draco that I have put all the fine trimmings on except turning it into an SBR. I would love any insight into this that you could provide. Thanks in advance. I used the Ace Skeleton sid...

Individual, I wanted to go the cheapest rout possible. Total investment so far is $700, well $1100 if you count the micro but I don't have an ultimac to mount it to yet.

Re: Redneck Cellar...Might be something to this

In times of great stress, one simply cannot have children separated from parental units without chaos. Those are the times children will want to cling and receive reassurance, not be ripped away and stuck in a concrete room with 89 other children and told to shut up. Upset and screeching is the nor...

Re: Water Storage

John, Glad to have you aboard the forum! Are these the opaque blue barrels? For long term water storage the container needs to be opaque. I am currently looking for a REALLY good deal on something in the 500 gallon range, that is potable water grade and opaque to serve as the catchment for a rain h...

Re: Critter Control (Black Ants)

I've used the ortho outdoor granules and the y worked great for red ants. Once you sprinkle it around the hole the ants go nuts grabbing the granules and taking them into the hole. The next day there a few dozen dead ants around te hole and no more ever come out.

Re: Need help with a bus shelter

After a few emails with the Ark 2 guy I think I'm scrapping the bus shelter project. My initial plan was to create a sub 1k shelter. With all the reinforcement, re-bar and concrete I would need I'm already hitting 3K without and entrance and exit or ventilation, and I'm told the entrances can easily...

Re: What should I do with a 200+ Gallon Tank?

I had some pipes freeze and break over the winter and got to find out just how much of my stored water had to be used to flush the toilet. As soon as I could I went and bought some of the 250 gallon roundup containers that the farmers sell for next to nothing. Its definitely one of those little luxu...

Re: Need help with a bus shelter

If you're fixated on burying something I'd suggest a galvanized culvert. Purpose built to be underground - Less $ than your bus - more interior volume - won't leak. http://whshurtleff.com/culverts-and-related-products/aluminized-steel-culvert/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; If money...

Re: Need help with a bus shelter

As of now I'm cutting out the engine and transmition and will be pulling to tires prior to dropping her in. After that I'll reinforce the interior to the specifications of Bruce Beach (Ark 2 guy, man does he reply fast) and framing in rebar or wire before pooring in a ton of 4000 concrete. Basically...

Re: Need help with a bus shelter

This is a pretty bad idea, and not just because it's a fairly awful safety hazard. How much knowledge do you have about the structural engineering of underground spaces? How much do you have? Any experience or expertice other than opinion on why its a safety hazard or a bad idea? I really would lik...
