Re: Mom's Journal of the Zombie Years

I think most of the animosity toward squirrels comes from Sissy's dislike of them in her garden, not from frugal squirrels. Though I may be wrong. Sissy and I do have lots ... and lots and lots and lots ... of animosity towards squirrels of the tree rat persuasion. With the freeze we had here in Ta...

Re: Mom's Journal of the Zombie Years

Good Heavens! When the cat's away you mice will play ... and play dirty.  I'm still fooling around with some of the story but here is the next installment that I'm finally satisfied with. Well, mostly satisfied with. As I told you I had to scrap a huge section I had written for MJOTZY a...

Re: The Woman and the Ghost

I like the story ... I really do. I haven't had time to tell you how much until now. Thanks for all your work. I wasn't sure I like the main character at first but you developed her quickly and now she has some characteristics that are sympathetic.

Re: Mom's Journal of the Zombie Years

I've heard that some of you are interested in the story "This is Me Surviving" that is another serialized story I'm working on. It really isn't a good fit for ZS but to make it easier for some folks to access it I'm going to post it in a similar way to my other story "A Will To Survive." This Is Me ...

Re: Mom's Journal of the Zombie Years

Sorry, sorry, sorry ... I had a great huge chunk written and then I don't know how it happened but I wrote myself into a corner and hated it. So, after over a week and trying to rewrite it and amend it somehow I simply scrapped it and started over. ------------------------------------- The Zombie Br...

Re: The Twelve

Really good! This ties into your other "short" about Will doesn't it? I lost my linkie to that one ... unless I've lost my mind as well and it is another story that I'm thinking about.

Ack ... you just reminded me of the title of the story before I even got a chance to post. LOL!

(Day … I haven’t got a clue, I’ll have to go back and count some other time) August 18th (Part 1) I know it is the morning of August 18th but that is about it right now. OK, I think this is the last of the interlude pieces unless I want to develop a couple of more plot points. I'm going on a day trip tomorrow with the family and then hopefully I'll have another something for you the day after that. For those that are wondering ... this is an interlude. Basically a p...

Interlude (Part 2) Today was a better day weather wise but my old injuries are acting up something awful. I had to plant myself in a rocker on the veranda … the wide, wraparound porch that Scott added when he put on the second story … and let the grandkids get today’s chores finished. It gave me ti...

Re: H1N1 pandemic news started 06/11/2009

It looks like thus far the mutations being seen in H1N1-09 has caused the virus to drift so much that the vaccine doesn't continue to offer some protection. Can I assume you meant to say hasn't ? Strains of D225G is in the current vaccine. You are correct. I coudl fault my sticky keyboard but in al...
